You night even have broken something in the first swap and that's why the battery died so fast..Anything is possible, but I don’t think that’s what happened!

You're talking about the app drawer right? I'm going to ****ing lose it lolAbsolutely incredible that they released this with the icon redraw again, like in the first versions of 26. Really awful. Where is the QC Apple?
This drives me INSANE and single-handedly makes me disable tinted glass every time I give it another go. This along with the exceptionally ugly implementation within contacts and music.Keyboard still picks up a blue tint when Liquid Glass is set to "Tinted"
Why can’t I get widgets on CarPlay? Is there a setting I am missing or do I need another widget app?
I am on a 17 Pro Max and the stuttering from app swipe up to between home screen pages is insane. Its 26.4 and Apple cant get this right! 12 GB of RAM and apps reload like madThe stuttering is embarrassing, the ram management is absolutely terrible my apps are constantly reloading just being in the background for a minute or two, 12GB ram just being wasted. Apple is taking place of Samsung when it comes to optimization, the constant lagging is reminding me of touchwiz, not a good look. Modern flagship Samsung devices are essentially lag free, smooth in every app.
They better improve performance on iOS 27 or I am done with iOS.Even Apple’s own Genius Bar technician mentioned that performance is unlikely to improve over the iOS 26 cycle. They described iOS 26 as one of the biggest changes Apple has made to iOS in years, which may explain some of the current issues. They also noted that Apple is likely focusing on stability first, with further performance optimisations expected to come with iOS 27.
I have an app that needs updating constantly (a MMO game), and I do this quick cheat:This isn’t specific to this release but rather the entire 26 series.
AutoUpdate of the App Store.
Dropped into my Citibank app this morning and got a notice that I needed an update. What? I just updated Wednesday - manually via the Update function via the icon.
back to the icon, clicked update - it showed 2. No Citibank. Pulled to refresh and had 17. Some as old as 5 days. Mind you I updated (same process) last Wednesday. Last Wednesday had no Citibank update.
Updated just fine and all is well. The behavior of the App Store, updates, and auto updates is and has been atrocious.
End annoying mini-rant. Thanks for “listening”.
And I am on a 11 Pro with 4 GB of RAM and it runs smooth without stuttering with iOS 26.4. No lagging.I am on a 17 Pro Max and the stuttering from app swipe up to between home screen pages is insane. Its 26.4 and Apple cant get this right! 12 GB of RAM and apps reload like mad

This is the most disgusting release of iOS. Lots of app restarts and home screen animation lags! Notice this happens only on the 17/Pro model. On the Air its buttery smooth! This is a freaking 12GB RAM device acting like a 4GB RAM. Totally disgusting user experience. This public release of 26.4 is running worse than the RC on my iPhone 17! Having random stutters & millisecond freezing. Eg - times when swiping to unlock/close apps to go to Home Screen with a slight delay and then very choppy loading the apps, having random app redraws.
