There’s a faster way… Long press App Store icon > Updates.
Welp... thought that would be cool, and works if I go to the actual App Store icon on a home screen if I have it there, but I use the APPLE MADE Siri Suggestions widget to show the 8 most used apps.. and why am I not surprised that long press does NOT work there.

Starting to really agree with those often saying, 'does Apple not use their own software'? sheesh.

And just now, I open the App Store app; my Apple icon in upper right shows a red 4, I go to the Apple Account page and under updates shows a red 4, same once I go to the updates page where it lists 4 apps with updates available. OK. but wait, there's more. If I pull down to refresh.. now I have 24 updates available. 🤯

This one I can explain.

The 4 that it showed were auto updates ready to install when you aren’t using the device and it’s charging.

The 24 it showed once you refreshed are apps that the developer had recently updated but haven’t made it to your region to auto update. Apple does this to stagger their server loads. They allow you to force update early but most people don’t.

Haven't downloaded it yet but I'm assuming the Apple Music playlist feature isn't at the level that it would create smart playlist or multiple smart at once?

Has this actually been confirmed or has Apple made an official announcement somewhere? It's not in the release notes. I upgraded four iPhones, and none of them had SDP turned on even though all requirements needed for it are met...
Yeah it’s still off here as well which is fine with me.

If you have 2fa turned off like i do then it wont be turned on by default like its saying.

At first it was very laggy......it was terrible and then by tonight it was fine. I also thought there was a iphone storage bug because my storage bloated from 22.17 to 23.37 then every three hours id check and it was to 23.47 but tonight it went down a lot so its ok

Just give me auto-scrolling lyrics for my own offline music with embedded ttml / lrc lyrics, I don't care about anything else.

The new full-screen artwork in Apple Music is awful. Phone is in dark mode, and I’m in bed being blinded by this. I guess we’re not supposed to listen to light-colored albums after dark.

For familiar locations to work properly, make sure you have 'Significant Locations & Routes' enabled under Location Services > System Services. It'll take some time for the phone to build up some familiar locations if you're just turning it on or setting up a new phone.
Manually setting these locations should be an option, or at least suggestions of Home/Work from those set in Maps and Contacts (your card).

"Concerts Near Me" is really cool. I like it. Of course the keyboard fix is wonderful (and much needed) too. Looking forward to iOS 27!
I see it. But how do you narrow it down to artists you follow bought from? Isn’t that what it’s supposed to do? I see randos I don’t care about.

The "Set Battery Charge Limit" shortcut isn't available for me (iPhone 14 Pro). Is that only for iPhone 15 and newer (the ones that can set a charge limit in Settings)?

Just be wary. All the new updates try to sneakingly switch you into turning on Automatic Updates in the future. If you're not paying attention it defaults to on.

...and no, Liquid Glass hasn't been turned off nor is a 26.x update going to bring in 10bn new 'innovations'
