iOS 26.4 RC ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Third time now that the icons have switched from Dark (where I keep them) to Default.
Not seeing a respring or anything else that would cause this.

Saw this in beta 2? But only 1x. This is new.

My phone and iPad work great (on 26.4 RC), but my Mac is having this issue. Using WiFi calling, people I call or pickup can’t hear me.
This is on 26.3 non-beta. FB22215655
 
Gotta say the battery and keyboard has improved by huge margin.
But I get a keyboard bug when the keyboard just doesn’t show up when it supposed to to.
It happens in Brave browser and WhatsApp

Still having some issues with the Alarm. I can slide to turn off the Alarm from the lock screen, but it still seems to keep going off on my Watch. And then just now when it went off, I was able to slide to stop it, but it kept going off even after the display looked as though I stopped it, and was back at my lock screen. This has been happening on and off on 26.3 and 26.3.1, and now on the 26.4 RC

On 26.3.1, my watch keeps ringing after I pick up the phone (via phone directly or with airpods).
I think it’s likely related

I use the sleep schedule alarms and wear my watch to bed. I’ve never seen anything like this.

Considering it’s been present in several versions it sounds like something in your image is corrupted and being carried over. A fresh install might be the remedy.

I just tried about 10x on my iPhone Air and I can’t see a single bit of lag… I’m usually perceptive of lag and frame drop.

I wonder why the difference?

Fixed the issue by using “reduce white point”

It must reduce the HDR effect enough that the square is no longer visible!!

At least this fix makes me happy now. Just tested it and it seems to just disable HDR altogether. When I view HDR photos, they just look like normal SDR photos.

Interestingly, my Reduce White Point is disabled and I still do not have an issue. I have Display pulse smoothing (PWM) enabled and then Reduce White Point cannot be used.
