They mentioned in the release notes (in Feedback app) that it would be enabled in a future release.

Same with encrypted end to end RCS.
  • The Accessory Notifications Framework allows accessory companion apps to request notification forwarding and receive notification content from the system through an extension model. It is only available for developer testing on iPhone in this release, and will be available to customers in the EU in a future iOS 26 release. (172227787)

Weirdly enough they seem to have screwed up the swipe to your type in the prices process. A lot less accurate than it was before. But I’m happy for all of you guys.🙄

On my Air if I turn off Check Spelling I get less major mistakes but a number of smaller errors.
I don’t know if it is the swipe or the Spell Check that is the issue. Maybe a bit of both.

Don’t think I’ve had this before - since updating last night all previous battery usage data has been erased in settings, and it’s showing some weird charging for yesterday.

Installed on my Air within a few hours of release. Whilst very smooth and battery for the most part was excellent, I was seeing periods where the phone would get very hot and battery would drain excessively with normal non-heavy use. Never had heat issues before, and the odd reboot didn’t seem to resolve it. Yesterday, I did a reboot, then force closed all apps, rebooted again twice in a row and everything seems to be normal again. No heat issues or battery drain. No idea what was causing it but sharing in case anyone else encounters this randomness.

I read somewhere and also saw in a few videos that there is a shortcut option to set charge limit. I can`t find it on my device. It is in german and I have no idea where to find it.
Is it still there in the RC?

Can someone please create me a simple Shortcut with that option in it and share it so I can test?

Is this normal for the latest Apple Music? When I open an album in my library that I have purchased from Apple Music I see a tick next to play with a few options when I select it:

When I open an album that I have imported to the library from CD etc This tick appears for a second and then disappears:

These behaviours are consistent with purchased & imported CD’s throughout And it looks glitchy?

I don’t have my Library synched and just update manually from iTunes to my iPhone from my laptop every now and then.

Just noticed that the genre is wrong for the Portishead EP! 😁 Will correct that!

It’s simple, go to Shortcuts, create a new shortcut and search for “Set a battery charge limit.” It offers 80% by default, but if you click on that “80%” number you will be able to select any number in increments of 5% between 80 and 100%.

In Shortcuts app, search for “charge limit” in German (Ladegrenze ?) and it should pop up at the top.

It is. It’s the combined add to library/download button that used to appear at the top. If you’re viewing an album that isn’t in your library it will appear as a + then it switched to a down arrow after you’ve added it to your library, and finally the tick if you’ve then subsequently downloaded it to your device.

And any ripped CD’s added to my library via iTunes will have the tick appear for a second then disappear when I select the album?

Yeah that one is probably a bug! Is it only occurring for albums you’ve added that don’t have a match in Apple Music? I’ve tried to replicate but so far the albums I’ve checked all have a match in Apple Music. I reckon it’s probably briefly appearing while Apple Music checks if it’s matched then disappearing when there isn’t one. But that’s just a guess.

Edit: I pulled up a couple of albums from a musician mate that are not on Apple Music and the button is not disappearing for those so my guess is clearly wrong. Not sure why it’s doing that for you while fine for me.

I’ll report as a possible bug. Hopefully an incremental update on full release may sort it.

Weird thing since I've updated to the RC - my magsafe charger won't charge to the 80% battery - it charges to about 77-78% and then stops ... or.... it's charging to 80% overnight and then letting the battery drain and not keeping it topped at 80%. Either way, I've been waking up in the morning with 78% battery rather than 80%.
