It’s simple, go to Shortcuts, create a new shortcut and search for “Set a battery charge limit.” It offers 80% by default, but if you click on that “80%” number you will be able to select any number in increments of 5% between 80 and 100%.

In Shortcuts app, search for “charge limit” in German (Ladegrenze ?) and it should pop up at the top.
That`s the strange thing. I can`t find it in german. I tried everything.

After a few days now since installing onto my iPhone 17, this feels like it’s a great update as Apple continues to make iOS 26 better.

Performance seems snappier and smoother than 26.3.1, the keyboard does legit perform better with more accuracy when typing fast plus better autocorrect.

Battery life has been good and definitely no worse than 26.3.1.

Yeah the keyboard seems quite improved. My biggest issue was typing as soon as the keyboard appeared as it would take a sec or two to show any feedback just to fill the text field with lots of mistakes and autocorrect not working.

It’s like they gave it priority on the process list or something to avoid it freezing.

Nope, it is not appearing. And I am from the same country as you 😎
I am using an iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Change the phone language to English, enter that item in a shortcut ("Set charge limit ...") then change the phone language back to German.

Then log a Feedback 😁

My phone is in English, so I switched it to German after entering that action in my shortcut, to work out what the German equivalent is.

iPhone Air
Apple Car Play
Ford Edge ST - Sync4

Linked my Air to the car to catch any calls or messages from my finance guy. Worked great - mostly.
Using the Sync4 navigation - not maps from the Air. Total trip time about 6 hours.

The phone got hot. Noticed it about an hour into the drive when I moved it in the console. Checked it off and on and after another hour I killed the connection. Phone cooled down after that. No idea as to cause.

After this incident, using it for a few calls, some lookups and emails, not further issues. Battery was good. Post trip I had about 40% left. Other than the hot when connected, it did okay.

Anyone else having idle battery drain on their 17P overnight?

Was losing 1%+ an hour on avg. Decided to close all the apps to check if staying in memory is the cause and only lost 2% over 6.5 hours.

Just managed to find a way to reproduce it;

- Open App Store
- Tap in user icon up right
- Tap in updates
- Pull down to force update
- Go back to Home Screen
- Icon redraw occurs in Home Screen and App Library

I have 17PM. Using tinted icons.

Feedback sent.
I have reported the same bug, only with the introduction of iOS 26.0, and the trigger is to change Focus, can anyone confirm the same trigger for the bug?

Before I send in feedback, just wanted to check if the driving focus auto reply to messages is working or not for anyone? It has completely stopped for me. Ta.

CarPlay is busted with Apple Maps when using multiple stops.
This is on 26.4 RC1 on iPhone 17 Pro Max w/Honda 2024 Hybrid Sport Touring

Steps to reproduce:
1.) Connect to CarPlay
2.) Create a series of routes in Apple Maps
3.) Begin Navigation
4.) Disconnect from CarPlay (turn off vehichle) (because you are at one of the stops)
5.) Reconnect CarPlay (start vehicle)

Apple Maps has now lost all navigation and you have to start it over.

Anyone else facing this? (Yes I have reported it)

Can’t capture this on video because it has something to do with HDR, but go to your song list in music (light mode please). Watch when the search icon changes size between large and compact.

Do you see a grey square appear behind the magnifying glass for a brief second?

I can’t get it on a screen recording but it definitely happens.

Carplay with 26.4 (any beta, RC included) has been a mess. 26.3 seemed to be working fine after upgrading USB A to USB C cable to a Beats one on my Hyundai Tucson Full Hybrid 2022.
Now, with 26.4 on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, it requires attaching/detaching cable for 4-5 times before it finally gets Carplay to work (sometimes it is stuck, sometimes it is too slow to react to any Siri request and then it restarts the display device on the car losing Carplay connectivity, sometimes Carplay icon doesn't even appear on the screen).
Wonder now what has to be done to fix this issue.

Yeah, it takes minutes before the wireless CarPlay connects now. Before it was near instant.
