Same here. I have tried twice, I get an error at the very beginning when it tries to verify the update with Apple using the IPSW method.

My phone goes into recovery screen every time with IPSW, so I stick to the tried and true OTA now without issue.

This only happens, when you have the battery saving mode activated. I can replicate this. If you turn this off, everything is smooth.

Yeah, I just had a third attempt after I updated my Mac to 26.5. This time I went a bit further in the update process but failed. I am downloading the 26.4 installer until they figure out what is going on with this 26.5 IPSW.

Try installing the latest Xcode or just MobileDevices.pkg from it. This helped me when I was trying to install 26.4 RC.

Everything seems to be running much smoother for me on this beta. The last release was a bit stuttery ,and my phone kept getting really hot on my 16pro.

Yeh this is on my 15 PM. Sometimes it works and others times it doesn’t idk , hopefully fixed in the next beta . First time ever having this issues on any iPhone I ever had . Ohh well idk 🤷‍♂️

It must have changed between 26.3 and 26.4. I swear these were narrower, but it looks the same on my 15 Pro running 26.4.
