17PM downloaded OTA and no build is even showing just 26.5. Click on it and still doesn’t show build.

pretty sure if you did it via ota you would get the h build 23F5054h

the d build 23F5054d currently listed on website https://developer.apple.com/news/releases/

is effectively uninstallable like available via ipsw - an ipsw that you can't install!

They'll likely replace the IPSW later today or tomorrow with the correct one. I'm not running this beta so just passing info I saw.

So far only bug I’ve noticed is with the unlocking animation. When the icons are flying into place near the end of the animation they suddenly snap into place.

You have to tap exactly on „26.5“ not just anywhere near it, exactly on it.

Liquid Glass is a mess and ui stutter on m4 iPad Pro, they can work on that, iOS 27 is also gonna be minor just new Siri and ai and thats it

Done that 2 or 3 times. Some of the glitches have gone, but the swipe down to bring back the home screen remains. Zollotech is also reporting the same issue on his just released YT 25 beta 2 video.

OTA shows an h build but it’s a d build on developer portal

This is exactly what has thrown me off and it has bricked my phone twice from trying to update via IPSW it doesn't work, only OTA updating is working because of the build number ending discrepancy...

I understand that the D compilation of the ipsw is not being signed or they simply made a mistake when creating the ipsw file.

Indeed, time flies! I still remember hesitating whether I should update to iOS 26 and then, with 26.2 I pulled the trigger.

Now 26.4.1 feels so smooth and polished that I think I’ll settle on this version until iOS 27.

But yeah, if you think about it, iOS 26 development is almost complete, and shortly, the focus will be on iOS 27. Less than two months for WWDC! Yay!

I just tried this (17PM) with something I knew was there and recent and saw "No Results. More results will be shown once Messages finishes indexing" so maybe this just needs a bit more time to cook. And yes, I've let the install settle and done a hard restart.

During the Beta 1 release, CN variants were briefly able to download and enable Apple Intelligence due to a mistake. Apple quickly rolled this back, though a small number of users reportedly retained access even after the v2 OTA update.

As of Beta 2, AI functionality on CN variants has been reverted to Siri only.

It remains unclear how long it will take for Apple Intelligence to officially launch on CN devices in China.
