Limiting to 80% charge is still only for 15 series and newer.Low power mode is basically the same feature. You aren't missing anything.

That's not adaptive power mode.Limiting to 80% charge is still only for 15 series and newer.
iOS 18 will be outdated tomorrow. It’s time for the new version, if not already on due to the beta process.Time to update to iOS 18.
Yes. It took a while but I like it. I see there are sometimes the trade off with readability but overall it’s pretty nice. Curious to see further improvements over the next months and years to come.Anybody like liquid glass?
Nah, iOS 18 is the stable version now, while iOS 26 will be beta quality for a couple months to come. I don't need that annoyance, nor the update churn. Unless I need to buy a new device, I can be spared any major updates for a year, like I have been with iOS 17 for the past year.iOS 18 will be outdated tomorrow. For sure I doAnybody like liquid glass?
Been on beta since beta 4 and it works and run better and faster than ios 18, with occassional bugs if course… no big deal - iphone 14 proThe public beta moves to the global beta. I’ll likely wait and see a bit longer, I don’t need surprises this week.
To all who install immediately: I thank you for your service.
There are some very minor bugs. Don’t listen to anyone here crying that it isn’t ready (when are updates really done anyway?). I wasn’t on the beta till the RC this year and I think its a pretty solid release in my personal as professional use over the last few days. After a day of settling down it runs smoother than 18 ever did. Icon caching took a few days to stop happening so that isn’t a long term issue. Now that could be because my 12 Pro Max has 6GB and it wouldn’t work well on the 4GB phones (12). No idea. The public beta moves to the global beta. iOS 26 is stable. Some minor visual bugs probably but nothing groundbreaking.Nah, iOS 18 is the stable version now, while iOS 26 will be beta quality for a couple months to come. Have read the same with iOS 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18… now with 26I have been using the RC iPad and iOS since Monday, there are so many visual glitches, and the design inconsistency is absolutely shocking. Apple should be ashamed of pushing this out like this, it’s like they have given up on software quality.
I wholeheartedly agree, running it on 13PMThere are some very minor bugs. Don’t listen to anyone here crying that it isn’t ready (when are updates really done anyway?). I personally like the fun and whimsy being brought back to a boring OS and the glass look is absolutely gorgeous in use. Much better than pictures try to convey. I’ve yet to run into any legibility problems. I’m not saying there won’t be any but don’t think actual usage is anything like it’s being portrayed as. Sad that the MR community is helping to spread this FUD.
I very much disagree with certain very vocal developers on how bad it is and how they can’t believe Apple is shipping it. That just isn’t what I’m experiencing on a 12 Pro Max (nothing new by any means). It’s fine and not even close to Apple’s worst .0 release. No, I don’t work for Apple and I never have. I also don’t own stock in them. This is just my personal experience and opinion. I like iOS 26. 🤷♂️
I'm not as extreme as you, but I also prefer to skip the first two or three releases of the new operating system. There should be a setting for a postponed upgrade schedule that in my opinion.Nah, iOS 18 is the stable version now, while iOS 26 will be beta quality for a couple months to come. It's you.Is it just me? Am I the only one that thinks those super-tall clock digits are ugly and hard to read?
I'm sure it's not just you, but I like the look of them so far and think I'll like having them on the Lock Screen. Is it just me? Am I the only one that thinks those super-tall clock digits are ugly and hard to read?
I feel like i have a problem every year where my phone is running the newer software when the new phones arrive... and it won't let me transfer to the new phone. It forces me to set up as new phone (and then update software before it will even allow me to restore from back up, since the backup is newer).Guaranteed there will be be an update BEFORE the phones arrive 9/19.
its usually 6pm UK time or 5pm GMTWhat would be the time of day, any guesses or knowing ?

You’re typing it wrong! The keyboard is still laggy on my 15 Pro
