I actually don't mind it an all for a beta. I have been having some issues getting iMessage to login though. Same with RCS.

Do you have to have beta updated enabled in 'General' > 'Software Updates' to install airpods beta? And if so, has anyone had an issue with 'unable to chechk for update' and managed to fix that? (I have tried restart, reset network settings (I don't have a iOS update file))

There’s now thee tab options for Safari.

iPhone 11 Pro Max, soft-bricked on first OTA update. Tried downloading ipsw, and updating via Macbook.
Took me a few tries (I think I downloaded it 3 times in total, not sure if it's the same file in the end, size and name match tho), had to download the XCode Beta, to update the restore component. It clicked on maybe 5th update to iOS 26 for it to finally click and boot properly.

Now it's booted, and nice and toasty. Also after it fully boots, I recommend a reboot. Things fall into place.

Yeah iOS 26 is ugly AF and is a no go for me, already restored back to iOS 18.5 🤣
Lots of posts with screenshots on Reddit and the majority objectively look bad, if not, atrocious. The worst offender seems to be control center with lots of hard to read text.

I know there is a lot of negative post but I kind of like it. Yes there are rough edges but it has potential View attachment 2518024
The biggest issue as I see it, is the same issue iOS 7 introduced (which hasn’t been fixed to this day) - the look and feel and usability of the interface is highly dependent on the wallpaper used.

One of many examples: if your wallpaper is too light, you lose all of the status bar icons (at the top of the phone).

With Glass, Control Center is visually lost with many wallpapers (hop on over to Reddit for many examples).

Yep. It takes some work. Here is my control center.
