so most of the innovation coming from Apple now is a new, ugly design. not much more. Steve, where are you?? innovation died with you
People hate change - so that's expected...However, there are many elements of Liquid glASS that is just bad design. In some areas, it looks create. In others, it is just awful.Wow so many negative comments on his post.
How do you get to your homepods into dev beta? Mine would only take public betas? There is a beta for HomePod but unsure what it does
It fades away after a couple seconds in all apps. Since it's animated I assume it's deliberate.Anyone notice Safari seems to hide the home bar? I wonder if this is a bug or if developers will have this option more often.
Edit: nevermind. Definitely a bug. Now my home bar is missing system-wide.

At least in Messages, they've removed the period so I'm not constantly hitting . instead of the space barDid they improve the keyboard or it’s still frustrating?
I genuinely cannot remember how I did this. It's been on for several years nowHow do you get to your homepods into dev beta? Mine would only take public betas?
I want to put this on my daily driver iPhone.
But the side of me that can reason is telling me to wait to like beta 6 like normal.
The other side of me is yelling YOLO.
What do
Lots of posts with screenshots on Reddit and the majority objectively look bad, if not, atrocious. The worst offender seems to be control center with lots of hard to read text.Yeah iOS 26 is ugly AF and is a no go for me, already restored back to iOS 18.5 🤣
Can you remind me just how easy/hard it is to restore back? Keen to give it a crack bit I do not want to spend all day messing with my phone.Yeah iOS 26 is ugly AF and is a no go for me, already restored back to iOS 18.5 🤣
After the initial shock, and a change of wallpaper, its actually growing on me.Yeah iOS 26 is ugly AF and is a no go for me, already restored back to iOS 18.5 🤣
The biggest issue as I see it, is the same issue iOS 7 introduced (which hasn’t been fixed to this day) - the look and feel and usability of the interface is highly dependent on the wallpaper used.I know there is a lot of negative post but I kind of like it. Yes there are rough edges but it has potential View attachment 2518024
Yep. It takes some work. Here is my control center. The biggest issue as I see it, is the same issue iOS 7 introduced (which hasn’t been fixed to this day) - the look and feel and usability of the interface is highly dependent on the wallpaper used.
One of many examples: if your wallpaper is too light, you lose all of the status bar icons (at the top of the phone).
With Glass, Control Center is visually lost with many wallpapers (hop on over to Reddit for many examples).
Not a bug… this needs to be a feature. It fades out because they’re preparing for the 20th anniversary iPhone with no bezelAnyone notice Safari seems to hide the home bar? I wonder if this is a bug or if developers will have this option more often.
Edit: nevermind. Definitely a bug. Now my home bar is missing system-wide.
