That’s why you should use genuine battery from Apple, not some cheap 3rd party battery 🙈
The iphone 12 is only worth $100 so why spend $120 on an Apple battery. I'm waiting for next iPhone with user-replaceable battery as mandated by EU legislation to become law soon.

I hope they can fix legibility next beta but still keep that visual look that they’re going for 😭

Anyone encounter a horizontal line while using Safari?
yes, very often, seems almost site dependent but at the same time random.

Sometimes it’s there and doesn’t go away, sometimes it appears and disappears when scrolling/panning.

Sometimes swapping to a different tab then back fixes it, sometimes going back to the Home Screen or different app then back into Safari fixes it.

Might be placebo but I installed ios26 on my 14pro and it seems to be smoother than my 14Promax

I reportedit as a bug but who knows what they are thinking. Private browsing not being allowed if your screen time is locked with a passcode serms like a bug but they made it legit with a warning message.

I wonder how this could be implemented, if it is doable at all, without sacrificing iPhone thinness and water friendliness. Something like a current SIM tray in Europe, I guess, yet this tray would need to be way thicker! 🤷🏻‍♂️

i dont know what this update is for since im on ios26 already but somehow it made my phone smoother….

I would assume this update fixes the error people would get trying to go to the software update page
The update was for iPhone 15 and 16 lineup and fixes an issue where third party batteries could not hold a charge properly. Any other perceived change is considered placebo and potentially tied to you restarting your device for the update (which is usually the goto fix for most performance related beta issues you experience).

It could be that code related to other things was changed before realising this bug and after fixing it they released the beta with all the code changes. Just didn’t send it to all devices because it’s just meant to be a quick fix for the battery issue.

How did you guys get the revised beta? I’m refreshing and nothing. Still on version 23A5260n 14pro max
Revised beta was apparently limited to iPhone 15 and 16 models. My 15 Pro needed it as the original beta bricked it 2X during install (low battery needs charging issue). Revised beta installed w/o any problems. No such issue on my 16 Pro but revised beta still pushed out to it.

Yes, was just for the models with Apple Intelligence and was related to a boot loader issue. Same build "number" but a few builds later.

Anyone know if the mail app natively supports creating rich text formatting (including images) for mail signatures in iOS 26 beta 1?

Thank you!

Mail app settings for signatures are the same as far as I can tell. Bold, italics, underline. I can’t see any other options, such as using different colours or adding images.

Well another year and Safari still recommends your Apple Card even if you remove it from Wallet.
Tempted to close the account just to see if I can get it removed that way. No option to delist it in Safari.
Maybe someone answered you, I’m 20 pages behind with my reading, but:-
Settings, Apps, Safari, Autofill, Saved credit cards, remove it.

EDIT: OK someone answered, , no idea Apple Card was any different.
