but do you need to read it? You clicked on the search button, and you see the search bar pop out from it. Does that interaction leave you so confused that you still need to read the word “search” every time to know what the search bar is for?

This is why I think the reactions to all the legibility concerns with Liquid Glass are overblown. These are elements that you may have to read once or twice when first getting acquainted with an app, but from then on you’ll remember what they do. All you need is an indication of an area to click.
Yes, it's reasonably helpful to be able to read what I'm typing. Otherwise, why do we have text at all?

Anyone else noticed that the glare around icons and glass interface elements is buggy as hell in this version? Sometimes it’s there, sometimes it’s not. Sometimes it’s dynamic, sometimes it’s fixed. Sometimes it’s there for a few seconds but then disappears. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to show, and sometimes it’s then gone again after a few seconds. Sometimes it is there on the dock, but not on the icons in The dock or vice versa. Sometimes it is there on the folder but not on the icons in the folder, or vice versa. Sometimes it is there on icons, but not on widgets.

Totally! Posted about it below before seeing your post. So annoying! Worked fine in DB1-4.

Does anyone else have to constantly sign in to their Apple account? I get asked multiple times a day?

Also - my update was only I think 1.73Gb, seems low compared to what others are reporting.

Running on a 16PM in the UK

My install was 1.58GB on my 15PM coming from the first public beta of iOS 26. I found that a bit odd too.

Not sure when this bug appeared, but I notice the menu on apps in the dock will reverse based on if you right click with a mouse/trckpad vs holding down with your finger. It also seems like the menu is reversed on apps not in the dock (delete/touch ID options are at the top not the bottom)

I have a photo workflow as is: send all the imagens taken from an event to a Shared Folder - and then, I picked up the select photos sending to a local Album in my camera roll. I selected the photo, click on it and a context menu appeared with an option to “Send to Album”. Now… it disappeared. I have to click in the three dots icon and I can send the photo from this shared album only to another shared album, that makes no sense. Does anyone know where is the option to send to a local Album? 🙏🏻
