shure, nonetheless it should be adressed. i’ve reported on feedbacks, but just sharing here in case anyone has seen it too
iPhone 13 here, seems very smooth so far. Whole process only took 18 minutes from downloading to preparing to install installing 2.29 GB. whole different look on startup.
I feel like it’s a memory leak somewhere. Sometimes it’s smooth, other times stutters.
This beta is buttery smooth so far on my 15 Pro.
Beta 4 and 5 were absolutely not smooth.
Beta 6 is silky smooth and lightning fast. Feels like an actual phone upgrade.
They were both smooth for me early on, then as days progressed they became so much worse. I‘ll wait a few days to call this one smooth.
Find my contacts widgets still broken, guess they didn’t read my feedback 😠

Opening a folder in the App Library is PAINFULLY slow. Even feels like a one second delay.
apart from the look does it actually feel better, like is typing better and is lag gone, also its always hard to type correctly on iOS keyboard has that changed, or is just the ui. I always hit ..... when typing in safari
I was told in the past that you can’t judge performance right away because of indexing after an update
ooh yeah i'm seeing that too. has to be a timing issue because the rest of the OS is lightning fast
update is 9.1GB and took about 7 minutes to download
I wonder where are all the people who like to tell me that Apple Devices functions totally fine and I am imagining all the issues?
I previously said on my next attempt to update I would try Apple Devices again. Upon shift-clicking the IPSW it just told me it could not install this beta and prompted me to check the microsoft store for a non-existent update
At least it didn't get to the point of half-performing and failing to update/bricking my device in the process! this alone is an improvement over prior attempts
I began the update with 3utools instead at 2:05 PM - 20 minutes later as of 2:25 I am still looking at one of several progress bars on my screen, it appears to be maybe 1/5th complete. I will chime in with the total time taken later

Why not just do it the easy way? It sounds like you’re just making it more difficult for… reasons?
OTA? I prefer to not do this, I update via IPSW whenever possible. If anyone is making the standard update procedure difficult, it is Apple
