When swiping from Home Screen to Home Screen on my iPad, icons within folders still have to redraw themselves before appearing. Takes less than a second but immediately noticeable. Been this way in every beta of 26 so far. Everything else looks really good.

You don’t realize that you always telling us the same things over and over again, aren’t you tired to do so?
It’s annoying like hell, your rant about update time every time…
You could go easy as most of us do, and do it via OTA and stop getting on our nerves
Well it wasn’t until recently that I was told on this forum that it was fully functional - that’s why I attempted to use it again. Of course, that wasn’t the case. If I wasn’t misled in this way there would be nothing to complain about. If it gets on the forums nerves then the forum should not be misrepresenting the state of the software to those who have to use it.
I do not do OTA updates nor should I be forced to
Maybe you misunderstand the purpose of the tool and that's why it has "been unusably broken for a long time" in your opinion..

looking at the tool, it is designed to sync content (to and from the device), back up the device and restore backups to the device.

But you seem to be trying to use it to install an IPSW. I could be wrong, but I don't think that is the intended purpose of that tool.
Apple Devices is absolutely intended to update or restore iOS devices (please read the previously linked support documents) That said, it is unusably broken and either fails to start the process at all, like it did today, or if it does start the process it bricks your phone and leaves it in a state of disrepair. This has been the totality of my experience with the software despite recent claims here that these issues are a product of my imagination.

When mine does this I briefly change to dark mode icons then back and it solves this glitch.

Maybe because they will overhaul it in a 26.x update? Dunno
It just seems a little strange, I could understand if it was an app like Pages where it’s not preinstalled, but it’s not. Myself I’m wondering like you if it’s going to either be redesigned in a later 26.x update or if it’s going to be integrated into the music app like it is on the Mac.

Are the reduce motion animations also shortened?
No, the animations with ‘Reduce Motion’ enabled are not any faster, even with ‘Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions’ disabled, still that slow app fade in/out animation that you love.
Nice to see with this beta that Apple could set the animation time to whatever they want, the hardware can handle it.

This fixes the VPN profile install bug from previous betas.
I can install the 1.1.1.1 WARP VPN profile again but I guess Cloudflare has to update it as well because I don’t get any connection.

This beta feels very good and has nice new design changes. In the lock screen when you get more notifications from one app, the number is visible now with a black circle.

I'm not gonna defend that person you're arguing with cause idc but if someone's getting on your nerves, then maybe stop interacting with them and just use Macrumors ignore option so you don't see posts from them ever again?

I am noticing that the mail bug still persists in B6 - anything I open or mark as read or delete in the Mail app is not reflected when I go to outlook, where all my emails remain unopened and present whether I’ve read/deleted them or not. This is probably the one thing that most significantly impedes daily usability of the beta.

Why? You could just press one button and wait for it to finish. Why do you dislike convenience?
Updating via IPSW is just as simple a process - or at least it is supposed to be. Either way I have my preference and in almost 20 years of using the iPhone this way I do not intend to change. Apple would not provide the IPSWs if they were not meant to be used
