Not for me. Was able to change the contacts in my widgets.Find my contacts widgets still broken, guess they didn’t read my feedback 😠
Maybe because they will overhaul it in a 26.x update? DunnoCan I ask does anyone else find it strange that Apple hasn’t redesigned the iTunes Store app for iOS 26, it doesn’t even get the new keyboard. The only change the iTunes Store gets is a “new” icon.
Well it wasn’t until recently that I was told on this forum that it was fully functional - that’s why I attempted to use it again. Of course, that wasn’t the case. If I wasn’t misled in this way there would be nothing to complain about. If it gets on the forums nerves then the forum should not be misrepresenting the state of the software to those who have to use it.You don’t realize that you always telling us the same things over and over again, aren’t you tired to do so?
It’s annoying like hell, your rant about update time every time…
You could go easy as most of us do, and do it via OTA and stop getting on our nerves
Apple Devices is absolutely intended to update or restore iOS devices (please read the previously linked support documents) That said, it is unusably broken and either fails to start the process at all, like it did today, or if it does start the process it bricks your phone and leaves it in a state of disrepair. This has been the totality of my experience with the software despite recent claims here that these issues are a product of my imagination.Maybe you misunderstand the purpose of the tool and that's why it has "been unusably broken for a long time" in your opinion..
looking at the tool, it is designed to sync content (to and from the device), back up the device and restore backups to the device.
But you seem to be trying to use it to install an IPSW. I could be wrong, but I don't think that is the intended purpose of that tool.
When mine does this I briefly change to dark mode icons then back and it solves this glitch. When swiping from Home Screen to Home Screen on my iPad, icons within folders still have to redraw themselves before appearing. Takes less than a second but immediately noticeable. Been this way in every beta of 26 so far. Everything else looks really good.
It just seems a little strange, I could understand if it was an app like Pages where it’s not preinstalled, but it’s not. Myself I’m wondering like you if it’s going to either be redesigned in a later 26.x update or if it’s going to be integrated into the music app like it is on the Mac.Maybe because they will overhaul it in a 26.x update? Dunno
No, the animations with ‘Reduce Motion’ enabled are not any faster, even with ‘Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions’ disabled, still that slow app fade in/out animation that you love. Are the reduce motion animations also shortened?
I can install the 1.1.1.1 WARP VPN profile again but I guess Cloudflare has to update it as well because I don’t get any connection. This fixes the VPN profile install bug from previous betas.
Thank godThe battery widget on the Home Screen finally has Liquid Glass
I'm not gonna defend that person you're arguing with cause idc but if someone's getting on your nerves, then maybe stop interacting with them and just use Macrumors ignore option so you don't see posts from them ever again? You don’t realize that you always telling us the same things over and over again, aren’t you tired to do so?

I guess the apps need to be recompiled with the new SDK to get the new keyboard layout.still no new keyboard on third party apps
Why? You could just press one button and wait for it to finish. Why do you dislike convenience?OTA? I prefer to not do this, I update via IPSW whenever possible. If anyone is making the standard update procedure difficult, it is Apple
Updating via IPSW is just as simple a process - or at least it is supposed to be. Either way I have my preference and in almost 20 years of using the iPhone this way I do not intend to change. Apple would not provide the IPSWs if they were not meant to be usedWhy? You could just press one button and wait for it to finish. Why do you dislike convenience?
