Did the swipe motion for the camera modes switch back? I seem to have lost the toggle to correct it and it irritated me having to to swipe the away from video to get video. Or is that just me?

Anyone tried it on CarPlay yet? I've heard rumblings that it's not working and that's what's keeping me from pulling the trigger on the phone. iPad and MacBook Air running fine on their latest betas.
B6 worked fine in my 22 Ford Escape. Haven’t tried it with B7 yet

CarPlay in DP7 works great with my 16PM and my 2025 Ford Bronco Sport. The Bronco has a 12.3" screen, so I can have 3 stacks of widgets, and can choose between the same icon options as iPhone.

i have the same problem..the solution is to change the multitasking mode from windowed apps to full screen apps..
i have already sent it to apple feedback..you have to send it also in order to solve this problem
I’ll send feedback.

I'm still having problems charging my iPhone 16 Pro Max with a MagSafe 2 charger (Nomad Stand One Max). When I place the phone on the stand horizontally to enable StandBy mode, it will start to charge, but then almost immediately charging stops for about 5 seconds and then starts again. If my phone isn't on silent mode, I hear a nonstop loop of MagSafe and charging "dings."

Strangely, when I place the phone on the stand vertically, it seems to charge just fine. So this bug seems to have something to do with StandBy or the display being activated while charging with a MagSafe 2 charger.

No issues at all charging on my older MagSafe 1 stand.

There’s a bug with backgrounding an app and the effect is has on Liquid Glass.

If you scroll over content that requires the glass to become lighter and then background the app by swiping home, and then reopen, the glass refreshes to a much more transparent version until you scroll a bit to make it refresh.

Before and after, you can see the legibility on the pink music glyph go right down on the bugged non whitened version of the bar.
The after looks so glassy it’s so nice, just need to fix the glyphs and ready for me.

Im having a ton of little visual bugs and glitches in B7, none happened on B6

I'm seeing some small visual glitches here and there that weren't present in beta 6.

Beta 7 seems less polished than 6 for some reason to me.

Totally. Beta 7 is a big step back in terms of polish.

Tons of visual issues I never had on beta 6. Let’s hope beta 8 fixes them all again.

Anyone with a Nest doorbell… microphone not transmitting audio? All microphone permissions granted. Worked fine on iOS 18. I know it’s beta still, just curious if anyone else experiencing this. Thanks all.

I agree. But it’s running buttery smooth and battery is much better than DB6. I hope that Apple will polish the rest out in beta 8 coming hopefully next week.

Hm, I was going to install beta 7 but it seems like there are a few here reporting it to be noticeably worse than beta 6.
Yes, it’s slower for a few people.

In case it’s helpful, here’s an other data point:

I installed beta 7 yesterday on my 15PM, coming from 18.6.1.

I’ve had a great experience. My device hasn’t gotten hot, except during and shortly after the initial installation. Everything is fast and fluid. Really fast.

I haven’t yet tested all my apps, but the ones I’ve used have all worked normally. Including CarPlay and banking/credit card apps, and a few games and most of the stock apps I regularly use.

YMMV, but for me, I’m really happy I jumped in.

And I’m also really grateful to the early adopters for toughing it out for the past 7-8 weeks so that people like us can have a better experience.

CarPlay working great for me. 15PM on beta 7.

My 16 Pro is now on iOS 26! It got quite warm during the update which is to be expected. Running warm immediately after but there’ll be a lot of background stuff happening now.

First impressions.

Love the new design tweaks across the board and the Liquid Glass effect looks great!

Performance seems on another level compared to iOS 18! So fast and everything just feels so much snappier and much more fluid. Fantastic!

The keyboard is much faster when typing compared to iOS 18

Nah, that looks trash. The previous beta added more gloss/shine to the elements, these are more “blurred” and slightly frosted. It looks like the normal, everyday transparency that we’ve had for decades.
