That's really an odd behavior, and well reported across the forums/Reddit too.
Seems that the webview rendering was cropped, but for what reason?
Inconsistent icon badges. Not only are they different colors in this screenshot, but their colors will randomly switch between white and beige if I swipe left or right and come back to this screen. (Excuse my current icon tint, but I love my theme!)

16 pro - I am seeing missing messages in pre-existing group chats (happen to have a mix of android and ios). All of a sudden my friends will start saying something like "wow that is an old photo" and I never got a photo. Or certain text-only messages aren't coming through. But they ARE going to my (fully updated S9) watch, so there is that... 🙃
Is there a bug with Safari bookmarks? I can’t get the folders to show above “recently saved” even if I toggle the option on and off. Even changing between large and compact for the bookmarks doesn’t change anything.
I wonder if the 17 with more RAM will handle 26 without redraws…
Interestingly, I’ve never paid for the dev program but I can download either dev or public betas 🤷🏻♂️

- Having an issue with tabs that have active fields - fields don’t show. Example: Went into the MVD website to renew my drivers license. Had to reset my password. All works till I get to the actual New Password page and that shows up in Light and no input fields.

Maybe because it's a bugs, fixes, and improvements and 90% of the posts are about the version and not being able to access beta, etc.
Sorry if this is the wrong thread but it has been a huge headache installing iOS 26. But my current problem is that even if I get the upgrade completed, I get a spinning wheel minutes, the phone crashes and goes into a boot loop. Then I have to upgrade all over again with the same thing occurring again. Thoughts?

Remove the upgrade that's been downloaded - assuming it has - and try again, in case it's corrupted.
Or connect to a laptop then download and install using the IPSW file.

Possibly however I have not run into this issue till RC/Public Release. The only add-on I am using is Firefox Focus. Been using that for quite some time.
UPDATE: I turned of FFF, did a hard reboot, and it had no effect. Thanks for the suggestion! 😎
Get Ublock Origin Lite. The best adblocker for Safari imo.
Or Adguard Pro, it even has dns filtering for systemwide ad and tracking blocking.
Went from Adguard Pro to Wiper 2. Haven’t looked back. YMMV.
The silence iPhone feature just didn’t work for me. I was trying to lay down and an unknown number called. I thought Apple would have put out an update for the laggy behavior now for iOS 26.
I’m having lots of touch issues (not registering) and freezes throughout (apps, settings) etc. 13p
Searching for EQ for apple music in the Settings app makes it quit immediately.

I'm new to iphone (16pm is my first ios) today had my first device malfunktion, ofc 100% connected to ios 26, for some stupid reason turning on bt (not even sure why it was turned off) to use my samsung buds (I was using them multiple of times) when I hit bt icon it froze my iphone for like 30 sec with no reaction at all, I could do nothing, not even restart, after 30sec it started working so I went into settings menu to turn bt there which again hang my iphone for 30sec, waited and restarted and after a restart it started to behave normally and bt is working now. But like I was so scared that the phone was bricked, I could do nothing with it.
I think the idea that the ios is releasing with a product like iphone 17 which 2 years in design and production, and that is setting a strict date where the software must be released even if it is not polished at all is just absurd. 10 years of Samsung s phones, now a year with an iphone and it is really my first time where my phone for no reason at all (I just went shopping listnening to music) went completely wicked.
ps. in older phones you could just remove battery to restart the device, is there any emergency combination of buttons with ios where despite the phone being not responsive at all to the touch or buttons, you can push to hard reset? Like I travel a lot and now I'm scared I will be left with no phone if it hangs next time for more then circa 30 seconds ;/;/

yeah thanks...I googled that already but it was hard to know when your phone is not responding and you are outside far from home ;/
