It’s laughable how the tech industry is so devoid of product design talent! Notwithstanding a few flops and copying/buying out a few ideas, Apple is still pretty much the only major personal computing manufacturer with a life long commitment to original product design (stretching all the way back to Susan Kare’s early work on Mac OS’ and then NeXT). 👍
Agreed. Some people disagree to your comment, but they must not be designers.
Actually, I was in the middle of weaning off of a medication recently with my doctor. He retired, and I had to find a new one. I met with him yesterday, and I have done over 2 years of this medication that was supposed to help my depression (which made it worse), and the doctor said flat out, he will not prescribe it whatsoever over and I’m 99.9% with that. For 2 years I have done nothing but research the best way to come off with as little pain as possible, backed by FACTS. Not some just some crap I googled. But the “professional”, or should I say he’s “practicing lol”.
My schedule would have brought me off around March. But now we have a NEW medication that will be done by January.
Yet I’m sure he’d tell me how to design a logo etc. He didn’t look my mother in the eye when he shook her hand. Psychology tells a lot about a person. He had the bedside manners of a surgeon which is not a good thing.
So perhaps I should be more open. But we have to keep Apple product design, and can tweak the UI if they can back it up with facts as to why they did what they did.
This doctor has zero facts on his choice, in fact they are almost opposite of mine, but he doesn’t care to look. And unfortunately where I live we have a huge shortage of doctors. So I just have to suffer. This actually happened to me before and I had a seizure. That’s when I began my research as to why…
Ok happy dream everyone. I just need to buy an Apple product and I’ll be okay…
