Usually, a good half hour.........or longer!
You can fix this by deleting Rosetta if you have it installed, there's instructions online, I used to get delays and it was due to the newer Rosetta version not being available. I have no apps that use Resetta anyway.

I’m sure that Apple may sneak some stuff in there for their 50th anniversary. 👍🏻
I'm not sure why they would use that vehicle to celebrate. I mean sure, 26.5 might hit b1 next week, but why would they use a beta software package that won't be publicly released for weeks to "celebrate" an anniversary that's long over by the public release date? Do you think Apple wants most iPhone users to only vicariously enjoy what a relative handful of beta testers tell them about or would they find a better way for everyone to join the celebration themselves? If they were going to add special wallpapers, etc they would've likely done that in 26.4 release this week.

I'm as much for surprises as the next person, but I try to keep it reasonable and realistic to avoid undue disappointment (although Siri frequently breaks my heart).

Yeah, I get your point. I wouldn’t expect anything big either. I’m just saying it could be possible. And maybe they roll out a 26.4.1 or something same day with some stuff too. I don’t know. I’m just saying it could be a possibility. I’d think it would be something like wallpapers though, or something small if they did do anything.

I could see a 26.4.1 update doing that. As long as we're dreaming, how about AppleTV and iPod mini updates that need 26.4.1 to run 😁? Hey MacRumors staff, any site log entries for either 26.4.1 or 26.5 yet?

in the latest release notes:
  • The Accessory Notifications Framework allows accessory companion apps to request notification forwarding and receive notification content from the system through an extension model. It is only available for developer testing on iPhone in this release, and will be available to customers in the EU in a future iOS 26 release. (172227787)
Why always that fuzz about EU, can't believe this is - as well as "Playlist Playground" and "Genius Browse" on the AppleTV in any way DMA related ... iPhone Mirroring I slightly understand but I want that in EU too, really...

The Accessories Notification Framework is to comply with EU law requiring more open support with third party wearables. Not sure what you’re on about here.

What oh what will this week bring. Do we see 26.5 beta 1? I think we do. Once we do my hope is that it finally determines if we get any new Siri enhancements or we wait to iOS 27x. The lack of any leaks makes me think we’ll be waiting.

How are we feeling about today?
Release Forecast

Historically, Apple often starts a new beta cycle on a Monday or Tuesday following the public release of a major update.

• Monday (Today): This is the most likely candidate. Sources like 9to5Mac and Ubergizmo have predicted Monday, March 30, as the primary target for the developer beta. Apple frequently seeds new betas at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET).

• Tuesday: If it doesn't drop today, Tuesday is the secondary window. Apple occasionally shifts beta releases to Tuesdays to avoid overlapping with other Monday service updates.

• Wednesday: Less likely for a "Beta 1" launch, as Apple typically prefers to give developers a full week to begin testing.

Considering the CloudKit regressions with 26.4 (See below in the Dev Forums), and the issues it's caused myself and a lot of folks developing apps and stuff, I'm really hoping we see a 26.4.1 this week. That would be fantastic.

I am not a app developer so my question circles around lack of knowledge. Do you think this is a large enough issue that 26.4.1 could be expedited to fix or Apple will just roll with 26.4.1 as they probably already had scheduled? Unless they short beta cycle 26.5 which I don't see unless their is no Google / Siri changes, we have a while yet before that will see public release. Of course unless they can fix it server side.
