Do they still have the same iOS 18 battery page with the hourly breakdown?

That doesn’t show screen-on time.

I’d love it if you could share a screenshot of the settings-battery page, please!
Yes, man. Also, if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or later, the battery charge limit information is located at the very bottom of the battery settings page. You can tap on the usage trends to see the hourly breakdown.

Yes. It also lets you tap on specific apps/features and alerts you if it's using more battery than usual.

That’s great!!! Thank you very much to both.

Luckily it was a change which solely added information whilst maintaining what was there before rather than removing some information just to add other segments.

Purely advantageous, then!

Agreeable.

Battery intelligence now? No mention bout it in WWDC but your iPhone tells you how long it’ll take to charge to full

Yep now there’s trends on power usage and battery usage even to a single app or iPhone feature. Also y’all can put widgets on the bottom of the Lock Screen

That’s great! Any other cool battery features?

Also, you can change the new Lock Screen clock design back to what it was… right? It looks utterly hideous, in my honest opinion.

Which options do you have?

Sorry, I’m bombarding you with questions, but I won’t have it and I’d like to know😭

Hold off on 26 until you get the iPhone 17?!

Yep glass or no glass on the lock screen time. BTW a few of these battery features will differ based on what iPhone you have. Screenshots are from my 15 Pro.

I was so disappointed to see that norwegian language support for Apple intelligence is not included in the beta. When I rewatched the start of the keynote they actually said "this year" so that probably means 26.1 or 26.2 then? Let's hope for a 26.1 beta at the same time as 26.0 beta. same as last year..

You’re lucky that your native language was at least mentioned. 🇸🇰 Slovak language is still missing completely (5mil. population).

During the WWDC keynote, the repeat of the phrase "in the coming year" definitely seems to imply that the More Personal Siri is coming in 2026, not in 12 months from the delay announcement or any other definition of year. So 26.3 at the earliest?

Am I the only one not worried about the readability with the new glassy UI and finishes?

I genuinely think by the time the full release comes out later in the year, it'll be fully refined and readability won't be an issue.

I could be wrong, but I just can't imagine a company like Apple not considering this.

Yes, I agree. The ones that complain about readability and accessibility are the ones, that complained endlessly about "not enough customization" and now that they are able to bastardize their UI, they DO bastardize it and complain its not usable :/

Attention / interaction bait. Just report/unfollow/block them.

Now that the Apple OS has unified version naming scheme, I have a feeling the number on iPhone and iPad will be dropped.

iPad
iPad Air
iPad Pro

iPhone
iPhone Air
iPhone Pro
Like Apple Watch SE.  will have to use generation numbers then. 😂

It should also be noted for future reference that Prosser delivered, his reports and mockups were pretty accurate, especially considering how early out he was showing them, they likely underwent some change in the time between, and I’m sure Apple was experimenting with some different looks. But the core aesthetics Prosser showed us in his mockups are there, almost exactly the same as his mockups, which is pretty impressive. Looks like Gurman was just poopooing it for no reason… It leads me to believe that Prosser had real inside info, while Gurman was essentially guessing, at least in that part. Gurman was right though about the massive changes coming to iPadOS and the impact it will have on the iPad. 👍🏻

Both got things right and deserve credit were credit is due. But in the controversy between Prosser and Gurman over the icons and look, Prosser clearly won. 👍🏻
