Today’s update is exactly why so many of you need to stop acting like it’s an absolute truth beta 2 won’t show up for 2 or 3 weeks. Yes, that’s likely, but no one knows exactly what Apple will do. Today proves that.

Last year we had re-releases too and none of them caused any delays afaik.
I think they‘ll probably release B2 in 2 weeks, considering the public perception of liquid glass. Probably top priority getting accessibility issues out of the way asap. Then again, Beta 2 is usually very exciting cause it‘s usually a known issues resolved party (for the last few years at least). That‘s probably when I jump on the beta bandwagon.
It’s a minor revision only available for iPhone 15 and 16, likely to address something with those particular models. This is not a major release or update… And it is not a Beta 2 either, it’s a minor revision of Beta 1… Besides, this is a speculation thread, people are allowed to say they don’t think a new beta is likely for another week or two. Because that is the usual cycle, people shouldn’t expect them sooner, if they happen to drop sooner, great, but it makes sense to keep expectations grounded in past patterns…
Can we speculate on if the next beta will be called beta 2? I think it will be beta 26.

Then I would wait, I am also tempted to install it, but my fear is the same like yours, so I’ll have to wait until official release 😬🙈🤣
Then you are better off waiting for longer, as the battery gets fine-tuned quite late in the beta cycle.
Last year I installed DB2 on my main devices and it was ok, so I will see how it goes this year and will either do the same or wait for DB3 which should also become PB1.

It’s only one week ago since they released the first beta - I highly doubt that they release beta 2 that fast!

Never install such an early beta if you want a reliable phone. That’s part of this early beta game.
I ran every beta since iOS7. Can’t remember how a life with a properly working iPhone is…
