That’s pretty darn good battery health ! My 15 PM was at 89% with 390 cycles and first used in July 2024 - sold it though and hyped for the 17 PM

my 16PM after the beta ... 95%/310cyc

There's no evidence that the beta causes battery health issues, it's just the beta lasts for months and people are still charging their phones.

My 16 Pro hit 95% at 300 cycles, so his being at 95% at 310 cycles seems normal.
Sure if it runs hot because of the beta, there is a evidence that beta can damage your battery health !

If you have to charge your iPhone more often, it will increase battery loading cycles and that will drain battery health definitely

This is true, but setting battery charge limits and utilizing the optimized battery charging helps a lot. For example, if you set the charge limit to 80%, topping off your battery will not necessarily complete another charge cycle.

I've been running the betas, and have charged a few extra times over the course of the betas, but have the charge limit set to 85%, and I'm still at 100% with 139 cycles.

As with many things technology-related, YMMV.

Definitely!

Using the new adaptive Settings for the battery seems to help aswell…

I really hope that Apple will focus on bug fixing for iOS 26.1. Especially visual bugs. I love the new Liquid Glass but all the small visual bugs that currently plaque the betas (and probably official release) is really ruining the experience. iOS 26 has the potential to become one of the greatest iOS releases but it really depend on whether Apple will be able to fix the visuals.

Hoping we get a new beta version next week before the RC, as public beta 5 isn’t as polished as beta 4 was on my 16 Pro.

I doubt it sadly …

In two weeks they can polish a lot, I hope 🤞 for the RC version

All of the above can be true. Sadly, I don't expect another beta release, and have serious doubts that Apple will fix the visual glitches in the RC/GM version. Typical Apple approach to development... "half-@$$ed is good enough". SMH
