Surprisingly solid so far. Anyone tempted to update just go for it but make sure you’re backed up just in case.

I’m not a developer and only have one phone. No regrets.

It’s pretty weird. Don’t get the Apple Logic… on Mac I only changed Location and Language to EN US and got waitlisted. On iPad and iPhone I had to change AppStore to non-EU

Under the DMA, Apple is a gatekeeper for their iPhone and iPad platforms. They can't enable certain things without allowing competition to do the same.

However, the Mac is small potatoes and Apple is not considered a gatekeeper for that platform (same with Apple Vision).

Almost immediately. Need to be on Wi-Fi.

The sliders for the new voice seem grayed out on my 17PM. I have the new voice, but can't adjust it any.
The conversations are not saving to the standalone app even though I have Forever set for retention.
The double-tap to Type to Siri is gone, but Spotlight search is now Siri, so that's fine. The Control Center widget for Type to Siri is still there, but it is weird because it opens behind Control Center and doesn't switch to it.
The answers for Siri are not disappearing when you swipe up from the bottom, but will when you swipe up on the bubble itself. Otherwise they just stay on screen until you tap something else.
But it works very well for a first beta.

Considered where we were last year at this time, I'd say 27 is a solid first dev beta. Obviously there are a lot of small-to-medium sized bugs (so far) but it's off to a good start. The new design for stuff like the Siri AI spotlight and Safari tabs/address bar looks real bad in dark mode, though.

I don‘t really see a point in installing this outside it having insane stability and performance improvements being located in the EU. 90% of the showcase is stuff not launching here, so you essentially install this for a dedicated liquid glass slider.

Please someone check for any RCS improvements… I really hope Apple ships proper UP 3.0 support with this release. Feel free to quote me with tidbits if you have any, highly appreciate

Yeah who cares for insane stability and performance improvements. More features that don't work and are mostly gimmicks are WAY better. 😂

For any who updated to this Beta, does wireless CarPlay work? Any new add to CarPlay?

Better read the release notes!! Seems lots of CarPlay issues mentioned in there.

Better than iOS 26. Finally, no hiccups etc. Very smooth 👌🏻😊

Weird that the release notes are full of CarPlay issue mentions but you are having better results.
