Big fan of this!! Not sure if this has ever existed before, but it desperately needed to.

I'm seeing it for the first time. It's new.

First part of the keynote explained how there’s absolutely loads of under the hood performance and general fixes.

For me that’s a great feature.

That‘s an older feature where complex queries could be handed off to ChatGPT.

The menu item I showed, was from IOS 27. I'm trying to figure out how the Extension Chatgpt, under the Siri menu, works NOW. It looks like you can you Gemini and/or Chatgpt with Siri AI.

If anyone figures out how it really works in IOS27, please let us know.

It’s a bit weird …

On MacOS, I only needed to change language and location to US English.

On iPad and iPhone, I had to additionally change the App Store account to a non-EU account. (Tried US and CH, both working)

Doing this, I was able to join the waitlist for the new Siri.

Is there a button to join the waitlist or it just starts downloading?
I'm in Germany and changed Media & Purchases to my swiss account und region to Switzerland

Since updating to iOS27 beta I have a message badge that will not go away. I have no unread messages. I’ve turned badges off, did a restart, and turned it back on…no luck.

Also asked Siri to read all unread messages. Also no luck. Any tips?

This started for me last week on iOS26. I’ve had a single unread message that’s no where to be found - says it’s in the unknown senders category but there’s nothing there.

iOS27 is still showing the badge for me.

😉 So includes a time warp feature that can put you 2 days forward! Why didn’t that make the major feature list?

Thanks for that, although I still am fuming mad because of the fact that we in the EU don’t get Siri AI for now, this info makes it easier to skip the beta for the time being.

Remember, a lot of people in here aren't complaining about massive instability.

Wait, it’s back. It’s just not really mentioned boldly in settings and must have downloaded in the background.

Have they axed reachability? I can’t get it to activate by swiping down on the dock/bar at the bottom of the screen anymore.

I have done all betas ever since its a thing on iphone. Never I have experienced such an instability to the point that I had to roll back. This is on an iPhone 17 PM

- Bluetooth crashes and goes off, turning it back on freezes the phone
- Wifi keeps going on/off on/off (WiFi 7 MLO Access Points) constantly
- Home App removed 6 of my 8 home cameras, they are just plain gone
- Settings app freezes 90% of the time and i cannot click on anything

For a version that is supposed to be a refined/stable of ios26, it is awful and i'm a very understanding person when it comes to beta testing, this one just does not even allow me to use the phone at all 😀

Being an EU user as well, its for now anyway a good skip as there is not so much without all the Siri AI stuff.

iPhone 17PM and literally not a single one of these issues...you should probably wait on the phone to finish indexing before passing judgement.

BTW- Home app UI has received a very minor refresh...looks nice. I have over 200 devices and all are there
