Because people usually understand what participating in a beta entails (risk)? It’s not like Apple MAKES you participate in it. It’s the risk you (acknowledge and) take prior to downloading. Adding to this: DEVELOPER betaWhy would Apple open up the Beta program to everyone if they aren’t going to support it in stores?
Works fine for me. Mac Mini M4, iPhone 16, MBP M3.Canada locked out of new Siri/AI ? Workaround ? Easy workaround or hectic workaround ?
Thanks for sharing that excellent list! 🥰Keywords and major organisation upgrades in Photos
I got it resolved on my phone, I turned off badges. Then received a few messages and turned it back on, badge gone. This has not worked on my iPad mini.I’m having the same issue
Never thought we’d get Keywords in Photos. I may need a moment.
Absolutely! It seems like a trivial thing to implement especially compared to the other really advanced features.I wish they'd allow us to add titles/descriptions, as that's what the MacOS photos app shows below each photo.
Sure, I was happy we got captions and I have an apple-script which takes that and moves it to Title, but I'd prefer both apps to be consistent.
I got approved on my M1 Pro 14” MacBook, then updated on my iPhone. Took about 10 minutes after the update finished until I had the new Siri notification. It did NOT make me enroll again on my iPhone. If you sign up for Siri AI and get approved on one device, does it carry to others? Example I sign up on my iPad and get approved, do you have to be approved again on say your iPhone? I want to get the approval out of the way and debating on a iPad install so I'm good for when I try it on my iPhone later.
I had the same issue. I had to clear mine in 2 parts. First issue was some messages that were read on my phone were marked as unread on my watch so cleared. Second, 2 pesky notifications I found in the filtered unknown senders.I got it resolved on my phone, I turned off badges. Then received a few messages and turned it back on, badge gone. This has not worked on my iPad mini.
Not true - my device has been indexing for quite some time now and I've had new Siri since an hour after launch. It very well could be that a device is not moved off the waitlist until the system is indexed due to the depth that the AI harvests data from the device.
Damn. There is nothing there. The indexing is the first thing seen on top, when opening the settings app.
Went to reload my card in the Starbucks app and it froze. Tried twice with force restarting the Starbucks app in case that was the issue and nothing. Sent Apple Cash via messages today and it was fine. Haven’t used Apple Pay in person anywhere yet so not sure how broken it is or isn’t. Just know I can’t do it from the Starbucks app. The one time it did actually process I got a red “cannot complete transaction”. We’ll see what happens when I go to the grocery store today 🤷♀️I'm still confused: Apple Pay doesn't need or use any app. It's just double-click on the power button and your credit cards show up. In what way did you use the Starbucks app? And does native Apple Pay work if you just double-click the power button?
Damn. There is nothing there.
Working for me since yesterday. The only thing not working is the new Expressive VoiceCanada locked out of new Siri/AI ? Workaround ? Easy workaround or hectic
Touché.Not true - my device has been indexing for quite some time now and I've had new Siri since an hour after launch.
Can anyone with the 17 Pro already on the new Siri check the storage for Apple Intelligence?
Wonder how much bigger these so called newest models are compared to the ones on iOS 26.
I'm aware of that. I'm specifically interested in the model size for the 17 Pro series. It takes up 7.53GB on iOS 26, and I’m wondering how this new, supposedly most powerful model compares to that in space. You can check out the model size (e.g. on iPad) by settings -> general -> iPad Storage (scroll to bottom) -> iPadOS, then read the “Apple Intelligence” storage. Mine (M4 iPP) is at 16.43 gig. On iPadOS 26, I think it was around 7 gig.
