May have already been mentioned in this thread, but are the outer edges of app icons looking low quality / jagged for anyone else? Kind of like if you turned off edge smoothing in a game for instance?

It's noticeable mostly with the clear / tinted icons. They have this dark jagged outline around the icon glyphs. I get that they want to make them easier to see but this doesn't look quite right to me. I have reported to Apple regardless.

It looks like I'm using a high-contrast theme even though I'm not.

Screenshot: worst-case scenario, light clear icons on a white background (just for demonstration), but noticeable in regular use as well. Screenshot smoothens out the edges somewhat - in reality they look more jagged than this.

I have seen my icons redraw exactly once, and it was while my phone was indexing (it still is) and sending the watchOS beta over.
I left my iPad Pro plugged in overnight without checking anything. This morning I restarted the device and was concerned initially as all the dock icons were blank even though the Home Screen icons/folders were all displayed correctly. It took about a minute or so but the dock icons finally appeared. Then I swiped through my Home Screens and all folders were visible with all the link icons appearing within with no redrawing. There was a very faint flicker for a fraction of a second but this seems to be finally fixed. This issue has made my M5 iPad Pro seem like an M .5 since 26 was released. The issue has always seemed to be connected to the presence of folders with multiple links contained within.

I've been skimming the thread to see what's broken for daily usage, and "Apple Pay doesn't work" sounds worrying, no beta broke this so far. What's the symptom, what happens when you try to use it?
When using the Starbucks app to do Apple Pay it either gets stuck or after restarting the phone it just fails. Oddly it did work when sending Apple Cash via iMessage this morning

My iPhone is finally finished indexing. Still no new Siri. How long did it take for you after indexing until u got new Siri?

Running absolutely fine on a 16e. It’s redownloaded all the old Apple Intelligence features ok and done the indexing. You can definitely feel an increase in responsiveness which is saying something because 26.6 was running flawlessly. Like to the point it feels like they somehow upped the frame rate without actually doing so.

I notice they’ve gotten rid of the accelerometer based light refraction on the home screen icons and widgets. Phone overheats a little after some intense Safari sessions but it’s also only just updated so to be expected.

Same here. macOS 27 Beta 1 + iOS 27 Beta 1 and iPhone Mirroring keeps dropping with "connection interrupted". Tried disabling VPN and changing Private Wi-Fi Address to Rotating but no luck so far. Hopefully Beta 2 fixes this.
Mine acts like it will connect, but then it actually causes my iPhone to respring. Tried revoking access and setting up, no luck though. Notifications from my iPhone to MacBook works fine though

Anyone else having auto mix not work for them? That’s probably my only issue with this beta… pretty good for a beta 1
I was also having this issue. Someone commented on the New Apple Music Features post that HiRes Lossless must be disabled now in order for Crossfade and AutoMix to function.

Hoping this isn’t intentional and just a bug.

Wireless carplay with a 2025 bmw x5
I thought you might say BMW. Unfortunately, that seems to always have the most issues. Might be a few releases before resolved. Def place Feedback with Apple. Sorry man.

Is wired an option?

WARNING!!!

Do not update your iPhone 15 Pro/PM to iOS 27 DB 1.

It happened to me, and after looking online it seems I’m far from the only one. The update installs fine, but after the restart the phone can go completely dead and won’t turn back on.
The only fixes seem to be putting the phone into DFU mode and restoring it, or taking it to Apple Store.
There’s a Reddit thread dedicated to this issue already, with many iPhone 15 Pro owners reporting exactly the same problem.
Just a heads-up before anyone decides to install the beta.

I have a 15 Pro and updated to iOS 27 DB 1 and also did a force restart and it works fine so I'm not sure if certain models are affected by this or not. Just wanted to share.

Edit: @AppleTester what model do you have, is it a middle eastern device?
