Anyone else seeing exTREMELY long update times? After downloading, my estimated time has gone from 1 hour to 2 hours to 5 hours and is now showing 10 hours! I've watched it for a while and I can't tell if the progress bar is moving.

Actually, now it is flipping between "update requested" and "about 7 hours remaining"......

I think it is doing.... something.... because it is quite warm.

Careful with beta 2 on daily devices. This known issue is a new one.

Been running b2 since it dropped this morning.

So far, (after the first few minutes of 'wtf' a phone goes through after an update), performance on my 17PM has been at least as good as b1 was. Very smooth; a joy to use.

Initial items …

- Games are slower. B1 was slower than my Ultra and now they are very noticeably slower.
- Shortcuts are having issues, some. EX: one that silences and sets DND or turns it off. On and Off have the same everything in the island. Can’t tell which is which.

Overall feel so far is same as B1.

It’s a rendering issue where an app shows up as a grey square temporarily before showing the actual app icon.
Not sure which genius came up with the term “app redraw” but it stuck despite no one actually drawing anything.
I see. Thanks.

I’ve never had that except for apps which are ‘offloaded’

Indexing was present in B1 till I updated to B2. That was since the release date of B1. Also, the littlest of things, my avatar for iCloud returned to correct size. It was an OCD nightmare LOL CarPlay seems to be more steady, and Siri AI seems more stable both on iPhone 17PM and CarPlay.
