Tested CarPlay for about an hour wireless on B2. Music and phone calls and no disconnects like in B1. Rock solid so far. ◡̈
Went back to double check and they were all enabled so I disabled and re-enabled all of them. It’s now hit or miss. Some work and some don’t. I plan on rebooting tonight, so hopefully that will fix it.Mine are working - iPhone 17. The notification that there are some appears after a reboot, and they trigger just fine.
Did yours sync and get set to "disabled" (first action in the relevant shortcut)? Worth checking, in case you haven't already.
Anyone else having issues browsing Macrumors website?
It takes a full 5-10 seconds sometimes.
Interested to know what the phone does when it Panics
Was this a hard reset (vol up, vol down, hold side button)?Just for info, not as scaremongering.
Had a white screen of death on my 16PM following the restart after update and entering passcode. Taken 30mins to revive.
Did this new auto restore procedure I’ve never seen before.
“Attempting data recovery”
Huh, does this ever happen? Say it ain't so!!! 😛😛😀So whose Battery Health dropped after performing an update 😜
Yeah, mine was “stuck” on 95% for several days and I too suspected a bug. Beta 2 has cleared the indexing message for me.Not a bit as I always suspected a bug. Which is now resolved on my iPad Pro. 👏
Cleared doesn’t mean it’s finished. It’s just hidden now.Yeah, mine was “stuck” on 95% for several days and I too suspected a bug. Beta 2 has cleared the indexing message for me.
Using current or beta firmware?Volume Swipe broke in beta 2 with AirPods Pro 2
Are you thinking of battery charge?Huh, does this ever happen? Say it ain't so!!! 😛😛😀
It wasn’t a force restart. It was the standard post update rebootThis is why you shouldn’t (force) restart so soon after an update.
15PM locks & unlocks samey same.Feels smoother than b1 but there's a lag when locking the phone.
Had it for a few hours and it’s great.Let’s see if this is as stable as b1!
So far my keyboard has been laggy which wasn’t too much of an issue until the last couple of days on beta 1 and still see it after a few hours on beta 2Good! It was driving me crazy! I hope keyboard behaves better too.
My indexing message was gone when I got up this morning so I don’t think it was a bug.Had it for a few hours and it’s great.
Siri is faster and somehow animations are smoother overall.
Even in low power mode!
Also the dreaded indexing message in settings was present throughout all of beta 1 on my 16 plus.
It completed in a few days on my m3 iPad but the iPhone wouldn’t finish and I installed on the day beta 1 dropped.
Interestingly as soon as I jumped to beta 2 it vanished.
Which makes me wonder was there a bug in beta 1 where it will say it’s indexing indefinitely even if it’s finished?
Regarding your last point with the indexing: Pretty pretty sure - yes!Had it for a few hours and it’s great.

mine Is still indexing...I assumed it was a bug. after update, it does not say updating after the update.Anyone have concerns updating before indexing has finished?
That is complete silly nonsense. This is why you shouldn’t (force) restart so soon after an update.
