Full A2DP Bluetooth support finally

I have a pair of motarolla S9HD headphones and after installing the latest beta iOS 4.1 I discovered that they are finally fully functional. They have always worked well but would not skip songs back and forth until now. I tested and the controls even work with Pandora radio as well. Every time Apple releases a new beta its the first thing I always get my hopes up that maybe they added this support - thanks apple for finally not letting me down.

Wait a minute, what? Game Center is an app?? I thought GameCenter was a collection of services and APIs that developers could use within their app, and that they would have control over the look of that (to match their game). This does look tacky and I'm now confused as to just what GameCenter is.

The API part is GameKit. Think of GameCenter as Xbox Dashboard (Blades or NXE). It is the interface you would use to check your achievements and game history and whatnot. Since it isn't core to the iOS experience (like it is on the 360) it isn't really built into the OS the same way.

Nike + Updated?

Are there any Updates in iOs 4.01 to the Nike+ App which was messed up by Apple in iOs 4.0 ?

It really isn't that hard to understand guys. The update now does the top as opposed to the bottom.

This update was never meant to fix the reception issue that some are experiencing when holding the phone. And it won't be fixed by a firmware update, because the problem appears to deal with the hardware of the phone. Apple can't change the hardware design of the phone through a software update. This update is simply going to correct the amount of bars that you see that show your reception, because apparently the old algorithm to do this wasn't right. It's now more accurate in showing you what your true signal is. And it didn't make your signal worse. Your signal always sucked, it's just now not lying to you and saying that it was better.

I totally disagree, we have always had good ATT service here in Richmond and your logic does not work. If the update only shows the "true" signal now then how come when I lay the phone down it shows 5 bars when on a call, or when its in the dock on a call it shows 5 bars or maybe 4, but when I pick it up with the right hand nothing changes for the most part when on a call BUT when put in the left hand late last night on a two calls before bed, one was lost due to it dropped like a rock and got no signal and the other dropped and the sound became awful. So i don't agree, its not just "showing me my true signal overall", while the update might be meant for this to some degree, I give you that, there is something more going on, So I flat out don't agree with this and I can PHYSICALLY prove it.... :D :p

Oh god I hope that is right. I also have an S9HD and it annoys me that they haven't added that yet.

Does anyone know if this fixes the countless problems with Nike+ that were introduced in 4.0?

I'm having an issue when I receive a picture message, I can see the thumbnail of the image but when I open the image it's completely black. If I save the image I can view it in the Photo App though.

I was getting the same issue....so I had to downgrade back to 4.0. I did report it as a bug, so please do the same!

I don't understand your response. Why are you bringing up the point that when you put the phone on the table it has full bars but when you hold it with your left hand you'll lose reception? I understand what you're saying but how is that contradicting what I'm saying? Unless you're just trying to tell me that you didn't drop calls before and now you do, but I don't know why you bring up your anecdote about laying the phone on the table.

Does anyone know if the update fixes the white balance? My pictures are very yellow/orange. This is the only problem I'm having with the phone. I'm really hoping for a fix. According the the Apple Techs. I am the first one to tell them about this issue, but I really doubt that being the case.

Found another small change. EXIF now correctly states "iPhone 4" as the camera model rather than just "iPhone".

4.1 Beta enables tethering....what a miss...

I can't believe that this signal issue with the iPhone 4 has cast such a big cloud that all the WHINING before about no tethering is going by UNNOTICED by anyone? Really?

BTW, you can setup tethering via BT or USB.

I have the s9 headphones too, so im looking forward to this update then

Everytime I plug my iPhone into my Mac I get a "New Network Device" has been detected. Tethering is turned off in the settings. Not sure what this is happening.

Also signal never reports full hardly ever when my girls iPhone 3GS does however. There does seem to be a problem left here with this.

Also I do have a Bumper Case and it does not solve the touch on the corner issue. Signal will still drop to nothing and doing a speed test I only get ~500kpbs.

With 3-4 bars I get ~3Mbps.

I'm getting that 'New Network Device' message from my MAC too (running 4.1 beta on my IP4). I'm wondering if maybe a wireless hotspot capability is lurking...
