I have issues with my home wifi but starbucks wifi and my work wifi works well.

I also noticed that 4.2 changed the QuickTime wave coding leading to slower YouTube videos and filmon.com doesn't work. Which makes sense seeing how every iTunes update requires an update to QuickTime.

And an overlooked add-on is safari telling you how many pages you have open

I'm having the same wifi issues... Hadn't noticed it before because I've just moved flat only just had the internet connection installed... What could the issue be?

I had this problem on the last firmware and fixed it and had it yet again when I updated to 4.2GM

For me at least the problem is to do with the Ask to join networks option which defaults to on when you update the ios.

I had terrible problems when I updated to GM literally being kicked off the net every five minutes despite a full wifi signal?

After an hour of resetting the wifi my memory kicked in that I had been here before and I simply slid the tab to off and the problem was sorted :D

Please try this and let me know if this works for you too?

My only issue so far is that I lose Internet connectivity over WiFi after a period of use. I'll be accessing the web either through an app (like Twitter) or Safari and all of a sudden it will hang. If I turn off WiFi and turn it back on it usually resolves it (until the next time). Also, I reset Network settings which fixed it temporarily. Looks like the old WiFi connectivity problem might be back (at least for me, anyway).

Looks like you guys aren't the only ones having this issue, Apple has reportedly delayed the release of 4.2 due to the wifi connectivity issues.
