Ah, the grammar police. Nice. You must feel perfect.![]()
Nope, I didn't mean it to sound that way, I just saw the blatent irony in their comment that they'd fixed the other comment, whilst injecting a spelling error. Lighten up, we're not all acidic fanboys with attitude.
I think you'll find that in the last 300-600 years or so the word "itself" has come into popular use. Interesting use of the apostrophe, though.
And although I don't find the reported problems all that important or widespread, you might be right. Haste makes waste. If the doofii on these sites can just dial back their sense of righteous indignation over perceived slights because of ship dates (case in point this thread), Apple may not feel such pressure to move things out before they're ready. November 16th, December 16th, who gives a crap? iPad still works great as is.
Who cares? Exactly! if you don't like it, then sell your iPad, or apply for the role "chief know-it-all" at Apple. You can always rely on macrumors to magnify, exaggerate and generate FUD & BS to an immeasurable level. Anyone would think the whiners were waiting for kidney donors!
Talking of indignation...

Couldn't resist the pseudo-pun, sorry!
Meanwhile, in other news OUTSIDE Apple... there's been a tsunami, people are starving worldwide, and we are spoiled, bourgeois morons.
It takes zero effort to complain before thinking, with a balanced and unbiased mind, about whether or not it merits moaning about, but a LOT more effort and common sense to see all the amazing technology we have around us, which Apple have conceived and created, and managed to market extremely successfully, unlike any other, and share the delights of owning & using said technology with like-minded people in this community.
The most sensible point of view to take, would be "they will fix it". Nuff said.
