Hint: Stop and resume download if speed goes down may help. Started with 1,6MB/s, went down to 80KB/s, after stop and resume it's 1,3MB/s.

Quit buying old technology? The 3GS was sold *this year* as Apple's top of the line, newest phone.

None of the 4.2 features were advertised for the iPhone 4 when it was released. The iPhone 4 does everything it was advertised to do with 4.0.

So if they were both advertised as their best phones this year, and neither one were advertised to do any of the features that 4.2 provides, then shouldn't they be on a level playing field anyway with 4.2?

It was still released 1.5 years ago. The iPhone 4 is half a year old now; I don't expect features that will be released half a year into the iPhone 5's life cycle to be available on my iPhone 4.
