Has anyone else noticed that deleting from photostream only deletes from that device, not from the cloud, so the photo remains on any other devices that you have?

So will the 2010tv get the new facelift? Also, I thought I saw a comment about iCloud and movies? Still hoping for iTunes match to include movies...
Yeah, im with AT&T
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B176 Safari/7534.48.3)
Unbelievable. 5.1 OS versions later and we STILL can't delete ANY pic from our phones, only ones taken with the camera. STILL can't choose a "check all" option when editing email messages -- forced to select each message individually to delete/move/copy, etc. STILL can't add attachments directly to a message while in the mail app. And now comes the latest farce from them in the form of YET ANOTHER incremental update to a product and calling it new instead of introducing fresh, innovative features. I'm fed up.
What the hell was all that "we're finally allowing you to cut the cord" crap about when they introduced 5.0 if I'm STILL having to connect to my computer for anything?!!!!!!!
They've got one more chance with me in the next iPhone. I've tried my damnedest to be loyal since 2007 only for them to try to screw me outta my money by releasing these half-baked updates to both the hardware AND software in order to boost their profits and reputation. I can't possibly be the only one who clearly sees what they're doing...am I?
The competition's way too stiff at this point. This ain't 2007 anymore when they truly were revolutionizing things. More often than not with EVERYTHING they do these days they're just playing catch-up to what Android has already done, especially on the software side of things. And coming soon, with the new cameras and related software on the HTC ONE-series phones, once again they'll be lagging behind in the feature department.
Not only did I not upgrade to 4S, I'm surely not buying this "new IPad" just for a bump in screen resolution. And it's thicker and heavier! It seems trivial but if there's any tell-tale indicator of where this company is going after Steve's death that would be it. When in their history up to his demise did a new product come in that wasn't thinner and lighter?? Spare me the crap about the radios necessitating the extra bulk. Excuses, excuses. I'm so done if they release another 3.5" phone in the next update. I truly hate Android but just to demonstrate my frustrations with Apple I will switch so help me god. Are you coming with me?
Yup I just installed it. Also HALLELUJAH!!!! Safari on original iPad no longer crashing!!!!
Hey all
So far there has been a lot Of info thrown around. I'm wondering if someone can definitively say if their 4S has the 3G toggle to manuly switch from 3G to 2G/EDGE. I'm on Rogers in Canada and ive only seen someone in the Netherlands who has the switch. Thanks for the help and it would also be great if someone could say if it's possible to not have the camera slider when the device is at the lock screen. Thanks again!
don't see the Facebook integration iniOS 5.1

I don't believe we will until Facebook makes a better app that doesn't eat up resources. This may be the reason Apple opted for Twitter integration instead of Facebook in iOS.
This update makes it read 4G in the title bar if you're on ATT's HSPA+
Does not fix the poor ringtone audio quality.:[/QUOTE said:you would need to return as i did to fix that
There was a 3G toggle in one of the beta's, I'm surprised this was removed based on some accounts.
A side note: A friend of mine was/is having issues with his 4S battery (in Los Angeles, where 3G service is terrible). As he isn't tech savvy I went with him to his genius bar appointment. I was surprised to learn that in Diagnostics and Usage, Facebook is known for low-memory issues on the iPhone. Apparently this is a well known issue within Apple and one that they have been on Facebook's case about. As an ex-AAPL corp guy myself I was disappointed to learn this as everyone, myself included, generally has Facebook running in the background. His point was proven when he closed just the Facebook app, as memory was freed and the iPhone was much faster.
From that moment on, I refuse to keep my Facebook app open unless I need to use it. Then it's closed.
Hope that little bit of info helps some![]()
The 3g toggle switch has definitely appeared on my 4s. I'm on o2 in the uk.
