My update is stuck as usual near the end....

This update has taken longer. My OTA stayed right at the end and has spent the last 10 minutes on the install screen. For others doing OTA, hang in there. It takes longer than before. At least longer than the last two OTAs I've done on my iPhone 4.

They must have something special in mind for it eventually because I noticed its one of the only apps that you can't bury in a folder. Typically I hide all the lame default apps by stuffing them in a folder but you can't do that with News stand....I wonder why not?...

I think it is because Newsstand is a folder itself. The way it expands to show your subscriptions, it would be like a folder within a folder.

beta 6, i missed all the other iOS releases, so i'm not sure how many betas are normal but that sounds like a lot!

Some of those updates sound nice though, updated itunes, and couple other code updates, i do love good updates :D

One bug is in the camera roll. The nav bar header stays fixed in place while the scroll area scrolls under it. I saw this in beta 4 but not in beta 5. Looks like it came back.

just updating OTA

4 nearly ready, 3GS takes forever to download, settings quit several times with no apparent reason during download

Installing now. I will note that the download did quite a bit of hanging around during the last 10%, but then quickly jumped to try and install the update.

iphone4 "restores" photos after invoking photos-app and says (popup notification) there was no backup made for that iPhone (wrong, did that last night over iCloud). photos seem to be all there, though.

photostream lost the blacked out photos and shows actual thumbnails now.

setting -> iCloud reporting the backup was made last night, just as i thought.

Having to do an OTA update as iTunes says it can't install Beta 6 to my iPad, despite being in the developer program and that it's already running Beta 5. Most odd!

...and yes, I upgraded iTunes.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

What's in the ATV update?

Just thought I would mention this: did the update OTA on my iPad 2. After installing, it now shows me the old "Connect to iTunes" screen and sits in restore mode. Any other iPad 2 users seeing this result? :)

For all non-devs installing these betas - please, please, please stop rating apps as buggy. You're killing the developers.

iOS 5 has been a little bit of a let down. the OTA and wifi-sync are great but I still dont feel the Notification System is perfect.

I'm thinking it will increase in functionality once developers start updating their apps to work with it.
