I'm on my work PC (not the computer I sync media to).

Got a warning that if I update to iOS 5 from iOS 4 here on my work computer that it'll erase everything, highly recommends I wait until I get home to sync to my main computer.

I just made a backup.....can I update to 5 and then restore from backup? Or will that just put 4 back on?

I don't want to wait until I get home

Actually, when I wrote that, I had already downloaded a huge portion of it. And I'll be done in 30 seconds now...

but still, waiting until later today when the servers aren't being hit so hard is probably the better move. Good luck! 🙂

I can't believe how long this backup is taking. About halfway through and it has been 10 minutes already.

Can you confirm that the backup will take roughly 20 minutes then?

Because I have to be in class in just 30 minutes... 😀
