Panning with 4 fingers on the iPad to switch apps is awesome :)

Same thing can be said about the other 4 finger gestures.

Here are a few things I have found that haven't been posted yet (or no screenshots):

- When in Calendar app, double tapping a date in month view will take you to the day view and automatically scroll to your first appointment on that day.

- Individual notification settings per email account (Alert style and sound)

- Change notifications sounds from within "Notifications" settings

- Show iMessage Alerts From in "Notifications" settings. This also appears in Game Centre notification settings and probably any other notifications that involve contacts.

- "Related People" field for any contact

- Safari search text now reads "Search" and no longer "Google"

- Reminders app now shows reminder notes below reminder title

Looks awesome

Facetime Connection

Don't know if this has been posted, but while on a facetime call if the connection is poor it displays a message and cuts out the video. Audio still plays, much better than the cut out I used to get.

I noticed that as well. It was a nice touch and the message said something along the lines of the video would return when the quality was better.

The AssistiveTouch home button can be placed on any side of the screen instead of only some parts of the sides.

I don't think this was already said, if it was I apologize.

If you are scrolling, if you hold down another finger on the screen the scrolling will be a lot slower. Also it disables the fluent scrolling after you let loose of the screen.

I can't remember that that was the case in the previous iOS'es, right?

This now also applies to the home screen when moving between your pages of apps. Nice find!

They possibly could as I presume they could pay google for the license to
Use it but that defeats the purpose of them ditching google for maps in the first place....

They could also do what Google did and hire a bunch of guys with cameras mounted on their cars to take street view pic.

They certainly can afford it...

This is great. It could mean in the future Apple will implement audio-only calls (à la Viber or Skype), tied to the user's phone number and/or Apple ID. The quality of services like Viber and Skype is generally better than traditional cellular calls since it carriers over as data and not voice. I hope Apple pursues this.

When you tap on a RSS link in safari it asks you if you want to search the AppStore for RSS readers so you can open it (and I guess when apps update for ios 6 it will just open up an rss app with that link).

When you backspace alot of text it now backspaces alot smoother. Cool little touch I like.

I'm curious to what my town looks like on the maps app. Can someone show my hometown "Shongaloo, LA" on the maps as a screenshot? Thanks in advance.
-Big fan boy

Can someone post maps of every city in the world? That would be easier than responding to individual requests.

Can you give some examples?

Some apps crash (mostly maps, but it works most of the time.) Some apps are slower than they were on iOS 5.1.1. Besides these, there's not much wrong with beta. Battery life is a little worse, however.

icloud

the fun shiny/twirly effect in the music app has been present in the login page of icloud.com since its inception, as you move your mouse the reflections move.
