There's also a history button in the top right.

Yep. That was mentioned a while back. It will change colors for almost anything, and to almost any color.

Just to clarify, the status bar doesn't change colors. It's simply transparent system wide.

[EDIT] Not totally system wide. In safari, it's black.

Is it like a shazam thing?

Not sure why you'd want to "listen" to a song (while its already playing) just to have it open again in your music app.

Turn by turn on iPad

Has anyone tested turn by turn on iPad 3 yet? I know it is supported but it does seem to go into 'turn by turn' mode with ETA and Siri guidance on iPad 3. it does follow you around though

Not sure if this was said already, but now reviews from yelp are built right into the maps app

pressing listen starts playing it in the background using the music app, so if you own it there's not the 90 second limit

----------

Also, kind of unrelated but you don't need a developer account to activate it. I just downloaded a torrent of the .ipsw and alt clicked "update" in the itunes window, selected the dowloaded ipsw and it works fine!

They could also do what Google did and hire a bunch of guys with cameras mounted on their cars to take street view pic.

They certainly can afford it...

Yes, but as I have said before, google probably has patented the hell out of street view tech, so apple would still have to pay google....

I think he means in the iTunes store on the device, same with app store. If you already own a song. Instead of the buy button, you get a listen one. With apps, instead of buy, you get open.

Well so far with same use in ios 5 battery on ios 6 beta 1 is disgusting:

My iOS 6 usage is on par or slightly better than 5.1.1

Do tell. Where is the setting? I did not notice this at all.

Press Edit, select the e-mail, click on move, the tap Junk.

ABOUT time they get this. I was using Sparrow strictly to add e-mails to junk.
Time to delete Sparrow now.

When you've added an email from a specific sender to the "Junk" folder, does mail remember that? So can you effectively "junk" all mail from certain senders?

I'm sure there's something google can charge apple for, otherwise why didn't microsoft also do it with bing....

You're right, I'm sure there is a reason, but I'm not sure what they patented. The hardware is off the shelf it looks like and there are plenty of software suites that stitch the pictures together.

I'm guessing it's something to do with how it integrates with the maps app. Google are very crafty with their patents and wanting money. That's why many companies are ditching google for maps, as they're charging companies for access. Don't get me wrong about patents tho, apple are just as crafty...

You were already able to do this in iOS5 and for as long as I can remember.

That's true. I heard people are dropping Google Maps because they are charging too much for the maps API use( they raised the prices ) not because of a patents.

Oh my you just said that. I apologize I can't read well today. Time to sleep :)

Needs to be notice now that with io6 if you have dropbox installed on mac it will give you the option to copy/manage the photos and videos with dropbox , also a update with dropbox today have the option for automatic upload of photos/videos.

Battery life is disgusting with io6 is a fact just need to look picture , i have notifications enables and in NC the share widget and weather widget , facetime + imessage enabled (3g facetime enable too) , 4 email accounts with push enable and push with other apps.

Before on ios 5 it wasnt so bad but now is horse chit...

Battery life usually sucks in the first couple of betas. It's been that way since beta 3. Also it doesn't suck for everyone. I unplug from charge at 100% at 6.30am, I have pretty much the same things in use that you list, I listen to music for about 3 hours, a good few hours of FB, browsing, messing around, take a few pics, mess with instagram. I get home at 8pm with about 40% battery left, that's been every day of iOS 6 so far, apart from the first day of use.

Whe seem to have the same result , but on ios 5 it didnt have the same impact , i think the new option to enable facetime on 3g might have something to do ? I will turn it off tomorrow and share my results.
