iOS 6 All the Little Things

It's not the same thing.

iOS 6 literally needs no other input after telling Siri, "take me home" (or to a contact). It will immediately start navigating. That was not possible in iOS 5.

Awesome. That's what I hoped. What about asking Siri to take you to points of interest like "take me to the nearest gas station"?

I just tried that and sure enough Siri did it. Unfortunately it was not actually the "closest" gas station (by about a mile). But if I was driving and unable to look at iPhone, and needed gas, it would have gotten the job done.

Yes you do. You have to look at the Maps app in order to use it, and you most certainly have to tap the screen to quasi-navigate. In iOS 6 you tell Siri and are soon on your way even if the iPhone is not so much as touched or looked at.

There is no way to do that on iOS 5.

New aliases now that mobileme is dead. You don't have to use them. Unless you haven't set up email via iCloud before iOS6

I'm surprised that they've removed the blue marble shot of the earth. To me that was THE iconic wallpaper of the iPhone since day 1.

In iOS 5 you tap & hold over a word and it selects it and comes up with the copy menu. Is the difference you're talking about that you can now drag to multiple words?

Newsstand hasn't changed. The store has, it looks the same as the new look App Store and iTunes

@me.com is changing to @icloud.com likley Apple will give you a year or so to update any contacts and will continue to forward mail sent to your @me.com to your shiny new @icloud.

me.com was part of the now defunct mobile me site as the site is icloud thats the email domain name now too
