if you are on a speaker phone call for 5-10mins springboard crashes, call doesnt drop but voice cuts out until respring.

I was on headphones and finally had this one happen to me. I lost the call audio for about 5 seconds and I had the spinner like it was shutting down. Then it all of a sudden came back to life..

Most of the crashes seem to be due to memory congestion. If I switch a lot between pocket planes and tweetbot or touch arcade either will crash after a while. No big deal, and to be expected with betas.

Once a week, on iPhone 4, when I go to make a phone call, it'll immediately go into Speaker Phone mode (icon is blue) but sound will not come from the speaker, nor from the ear piece. I switch speaker phone off and the same problem. The only fix is me restoring. It's a bitch.

Mine did this too. I found that restoring a backup onto iOS6 causes this. After running iOS6 with a clean reload and no backup restored, I don't get this problem anymore. iOS6 doesn't seem to handle restored backup well as I would also experience the phone getting very hot and battery life draining very quick.

CALDAV Set-Up Not Working

I tried to set up two custom CALDAV calendars. Both fail.

1) Both show up in my "Accounts" under Mail etc. in Settings.

2) Both are turned on, and have been turned on/off.

3) Neither will show up in the "Calendar" app. Doesn't matter if I uninstall/reinstall the OS or delete/reconfigure the calendars.

Thank you for the response. I will give this a go and hopefully it solves the issue. I don't want to revert back to iOS 5 just because of a phone call issue.

Don't know if somebody else posted this, but sometimes when you take a picture, then scroll back to view the picture(s) you've just taken...they're all blurry. If you open them on the Mac/PC or even in the photos app on the iPhone, they're fine. Just seems to be a preview bug.

I remember though, the same bug was in iOS 5 betas - was eventually fixed :)

For me it's only happening on HDR shots if I've just taken one. All the rest are clear.

Setting a one time alarm used to be great.

I could say, "Wake me up at 9AM," and she would. Then, the alarm would stay in my phone but turn itself off. Now, the alarm repeats every day with this command and I don't like it.

Not sure if this is a glitch or a "feature", but it's a flaw nonetheless IMO.

I don't have Siri, so I'm wondering, what happens if you say wake me up tomorrow (or today) at 9 am?

I'm thinking that since they allow FaceTime over cell data now that they aren't going to allow using it over edge just for quality of the call. Could be a reason.
Navigation won't work on EDGE either. Extremely disappointing if you need to start navigating in the middle of nowhere (otherwise, if on 3G maps caches the map and route).

"Wake me up at 9AM"
"I've set your alarm for 9AM (sometimes she'll throw a phrase out there after the fact like "don't wake me up".)

Then it shows an alarm clock on the screen with an on/off switch. If you tap it, it takes you to your alarms. You can also say things like "Cancel all my alarms."

Also, with "new" Siri, if you say "Wake me up tomorrow at 8am" and it's one or two in the morning, she'll ask you to clarify which date by tapping the right one, just in case you mean 6 hours from now tomorrow or if you really meant 30 hours from now tomorrow. :)

How do I get rid of the ios 6 beta on my iPhone 4S. I've tried dfu and restore but it's not working

I see people complaining a lot about IOS 6, but some seem to forget it is a BETA.

It's supposed to have issues so users can report them to Apple in order to get them fixed, that's what a Beta is for.

So just report them to Apple and wait for the next Beta, no problem.

Try to reset your Network Settings, but most likely you have the Location Time Zone Setting bug.. Go to Location Services and all the way at the bottom you should see System Services. On the bottom of that, you should seeStatus Bar Icon, which you should turn on and that will tell you if any of the Location System Services are on. Mine was just eating battery because Setting Time Zone stayed on all the time. So turn it off and see if that makes a difference in battery life.

Network Settings Reset did not fix battery drain.

I originally did an update instead of a clean install, so I just started over today with a clean install. Still getting battery drain (checked all pertinent settings).
