On the iPad 3:
-The Origami slideshow uses the same photo twice on every page.
-Lots of crashes, some that briefly go (6-10 seconds) to the black screen with apple logo.
-Purchased TV shows when downloaded and played in the Video app have audio but no video
-Cannot view details of some apps in the App Store without it crashing

3rd party:
Air Video doesn't work (sniff)
Screens VNC - some keys on the keyboard don't work properly. Can't access settings without crashing

What is Weibo?

When I first updated to iOS 6.0, In safari I had the all the options apple said you would: post to Facebook, twitter, send via messages etc... But recently when I went to safari I now also had the ability to post to Weibo that I didn't have when I fist updated. Does anybody else have this option? It also appeared in settings that same day. I have an iPod touch 4G if that makes a difference.

Did you install the Weibo app? From what I understand that menu is dynamic depending on what you have installed.

iMessage continues to be about 85% reliable...no change from iOS 5 really.

I cannot find any merging of my cell number/Apple ID so that iMessages to my phone number go to my iPad/Mac.

And as far as the syncing of messages across devices, it's still pretty horrific. Delays, out of order messages, some that don't sync at all.

Again I repeat, NOT MUCH CHANGE from public iOS 5. Quite a shame.

This would be my list:

*Slow keyboard click (workaround is turn off clicks! It really messed with my *Battery drain is worse (prob because of the issue below)
*Brightness will Auto dim all the way or go all the way bright (Auto Brightness is NOT on) I'm always having to change it back to where I set it.
*iMessage is brutal. Crashes out on me, messages disappear and reappear
*Random reboots (not a full reboot but screen will go blank, apple will show up and a second later it blinks back on)
*Opening the camera is sluggish
*Opening camera from lock screen is VERY slow and has crashed a few times
*Currently traveling in Washington DC so used maps to find local places. Places come up with no address just "Washington DC and zip" no street address but pin is in correct location. When "add to contact" is clicked it does not have street address either
*Spellcheck is borderline unusable. After one mistyped word it's been adding it to dictionary and keeps changing correct word to mistyped word.

That being said it's not the worst beta I've used but by far not the best either. These are all so random that one day everything seems to work, the next nothing does.

just about as stable as my windows smartphones used to be..

my bugs;

text input is slow system wide.

if you are on a speaker phone call for 5-10mins springboard crashes, call doesnt drop but voice cuts out until respring.

if you use earphones to talk on randomly static comes over the call and other party can not hear you, if you unplug earphones and continue call over headset problem solved.

maps tried to send me down a 1-way street in outskirts of pittsburgh.

brightness just like everyone else

for the time being i have gone back to 5.1.1, is anyone else having the 3 issues i stated above?

Hmm...

I had the call static twice but haven't since that first day. Not the others though.

Another I'm seeing now is screen is slow to react to change in orientation.

Same here... commented on another board at how impressed I am with how stable this is as a first beta build. Maps are fine for me, Messages is fine for me, I'm getting better battery than I did on 5.1.1, and now that you can attach files inline I don't need Sparrow and a jailbreak to make Sparrow push. Most of the issues I'm seeing and have seen in early beta builds come from people outside the US. It should be known that Apple doesn't have much satellite imaging outside the US right now either. These will come in later releases.

Ha! Imagery on this build is ancient. My house still shows the trees we removed in 2007! (here in the good ol' U.S. of A.)

I use my iphone 4 to tether the 3G connection to the iPad 2

upgraded the iPhone to IOS6 and now the tether is slow/almost unusable using the wifi tether.

but use bluetooth and its better, not as good as before but better

Is anyone having a problem sending MMS messages? I can get them but when I send the person just receives a blank text. I did a fresh reinstall this morning and still the same problem. This is the only problem that I have run into so far.

Fix to iOS6 Maps Crash

Turn off contacts in facebook settings and it will stop crashing. Not really a fix to the real problem but doing this will allow you to use Maps.

Is anyone having an issue sending picture messages to other non iPhones? after installing iOS 6 friends that have android phones on other carriers are not getting my pictures. My girlfriend for instance, it worked the first few days I had iOS 6, now it says it gets sent on my end, but never shows up on her phone ( Only with newly taken pictures). But if I send her an old picture, it goes through, but she has to save the picture to her download roll. It won't appear in her messages app. ( She has an HTC Amaze on T-Mobile) A co-worker of mine, said he was able to receive the picture and he has a Droid X on verizon. Another friend of mine has a Galaxy S2 on Sprint, and was able to get the message, but then gets an error that no media can be displayed. Another friend has a Black Berry on Sprint, and didn't get the picture at all. Another friend with some android phone on verizon, was able to view the picture, but she said it showed up as a slide show kind of thing, but was still viewable. Anyone that has an iPhone that I sent a picture through on iMessage, came through just fine without any problems. I tried to google this issue to see if anyone else was having the same issue, but came up with nothing. I started to notice this issue Friday night (6/15/12) I reported the bug issue to apple, and hopefully they read it and can correct it for beta 2. If anyone is having the same issue can you please send me a tweet on twitter: @Rich_Inniss or you can respond here, and hopefully I see it

This seems to be a bug, I've been having issues sending picture messages too, but oh well it's part of the beta

Keyboard Shortcut's spotty success

I set up a keyboard shortcut for my email address, but in ios6 it only sometimes works.

Is someone aggregating these bugs and posting them to apple? Just curious

...If not, you have committed a crime.

“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” - John 8:7

Pardon me, but unless you are the Virgin Mary of the internet I would take a seat. Have you every installed pirated software, downloaded a mp3, ripped a DVD, copied a VHS (old school right?), shared a copyrighted image, should I go on? I think we are all guilty of at least one of these at some point in our lives.

At least you get that. The tiles in my area are so blurry* I can't even make out the streets let alone my house!

* I've heard Apple hasn't enabled high res tiles yet.

Hot & Dead!

I have read through every post in this thread to make sure that I wasn't repeating something that has already been covered. My problem has been mentioned twice, but never talked about or confirmed.

iPhone 4 on AT&T. Battery drains crazy fast! 8AM 100% - 10:37AM 37%. I've killed apps in the multi-tasking bar, rebooted, and restored; but to no avail.

Phone is also getting uncomfortably hot. Not to the point where it shuts itself off, but darn close.

Anyone else? (besides the two people that asked and weren't answered) :)

Tried to download an Apple Keynote on iTunes. Wouldn't download. I tried force quitting and a hard reset. I restored and it downloaded. Weird......

Try to reset your Network Settings, but most likely you have the Location Time Zone Setting bug.. Go to Location Services and all the way at the bottom you should see System Services. On the bottom of that, you should seeStatus Bar Icon, which you should turn on and that will tell you if any of the Location System Services are on. Mine was just eating battery because Setting Time Zone stayed on all the time. So turn it off and see if that makes a difference in battery life.

I've had that disabled since the battery issues with iOS5. Just checked to make sure (never can be too safe) and it is still off. I also have my status bar icon on. I'll try the Network Settings Reset.

Here's a weird bug: My 4S just shut down right after the 10% battery warning came up. Definitely didn't happen with iOS 5.
