Anyone else mentioned texting yet? I can receive texts but cannot send one. iMessage works just fine but outgoing texts on Sprint is completely broken.

I have a 32gb iPhone 4S, so does my wife, and my friend has a white 16gb 4S. We all have Sprint and cannot send text messages. I however, have a friend with a 16gb iPhone 4S who has been able to text my other cellphone with iOS 6.

Is Home sharing really working for you? Its crashing on both the music and video app :(. Rebooting etc. nothing is working. I have a WIFI 64 iPad 3

So this is what I've noticed on my GSM 32gb iPad 3 so far.

From what I'm reading everywhere it seems to be isolated to Sprint phones. I might have to downgrade back to beta 2. Can't live without texting! :)

My Siri isn't working at all!
I just get the constant rotating circle after I speak, as if Siri is struggling to connect to the server.

Try resetting all settings. It works for me. Now Siri is even better than beta 2 I guess.

Hey folks

Can anyone confirm/deny that the Verizon iPhone 4 does not have the same map settings as reported here?

I don't have the voice/volume options here or the 3D rendering on maps.

Maybe we are getting some new languages for Siri by the release of iOS 6:

they announced them already:

the 3D map are only available on 4S and the new iPad as far as I know.

lol. I already went back to beta 2 last night. I tried again this morning because of my friend that was texting me...I'm back on beta 2 again. Lol. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed with some clever tweaks and not a 'iOS 6 beta 4' kind of thing.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but call history now shows how much data was used during Facetime calls.

Mine aren't a jumble, they're in order they're received, which I presume yours are too. Not jumbled, just not the order you expected

Yes, mine are in the order they came in, but not categorized and sorted like they are in the notification center. This llist view is much tougher to scan because they are all jumbled up together. They are jumbled as opposed to categorized and sorted.

As I said, not jumbled, just not organised in the way you want :p I like that they're in the order received. Tho for people that want it the way you do, would be good to have the option as to how it's sorted

Messages in Mountain Lion

I know this thread is for iOS6, but I can't find this anywhere.

Have any of you figured out how to Unify Messages in Mountain Lion? I'm running the GM and have iOS6b3 on my i4 AT&T. I re-registered iMessage on my i4 and it's working like a charm. How do I get Messages on my MBA to register my phone number also?

Thanks!

i don't get how your post relates to my one you quoted?! i never said anything about rebooting or anything....

Sorry. I meant to quote the person you quoted to help them out. Derp!

This has been confirmed. There is no turn-by-turn navigation on the iPhone 4 so that makes the Map Settings obsolete for volume options and 3D rendering.

And as I said, not sorted IS jumbled. Yes they are in a list view by time, but the categories are jumbled. If they aren't sorted and categorized, they are jumbled. They may be "in order" of time received, but not by category. Therefore, they are jumbled. Accept it and move on. To me, this makes them more difficult to scan.

The point is that there should be an option to have them sorted by category as they are in the notification center. I'm not sure why they haven't implemented this yet, unless it's a deliberate attempt to not have it look like the jailbreak options.

It sort of works for video... The library appears, I can see my movies but when I try to play one there's about 50% chance it will come up with a popup saying, "The requested URL cannot be found", and as soon as I dismiss it the app crashes. The rest of the time I go to play the video, and the screen goes black and the video controls pop up but the video does not load.

Music streaming is similar, most of the time it outright crashes but if I try repeatedly it will eventually show me the library. When I pick a song it plays but as soon as the song changes the app crashes.

It's an improvement on b2 though, where absolutely nothing worked.

I noticed last night that there is no longer "Forget This Network" under the WiFi settings. Now each one can be individually configured for "Ask to Join this Network." I don't know if this is new for Beta3 since I didn't look at this stuff for Beta 1 or 2. I actually don't like this, because often I connect to a Starbucks or other WiFi for a few minutes but I don't want it to remember and connect to this network again automatically. Yes I can turn off that automatic connection but that's kinda not the point. . . then again, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I still see "Forget this network" at the top of each individual network page, and there is a global "Ask to join networks" toggle on the available networks page, as it's always been. What device are you using?

I've just noticed that the "Post to Twitter" and the "Post to Facebook" buttons have vanished from notification center on my iPad, has anyone else got this?
