iOS 6 Beta 3: New Features & Improvements Thread

Sorry if I'm not posting any new features or improvements in this post as everyone seems to already found everything. But, can you guys help submit feedback to Apple?

- 2 finger swipe left or right in Safari to go back or forward just like in Safari in OS X

- Bluetooth and WiFi toggles next to their names in settings just like it is implemented in Airplane Mode and DND mode.

Hmm, I can't do 2 finger swipe on safari. Is it applicable for iphone4?

Yeah that's true. And some times when you click on a link that leads you to the App Store, some times it doesn't load the page.

I turned off iMessages on my iPhone and iPad and quit it on my MBP, then opened it up on the iPad first, then the iPhone then finally on my MBP and I got this a few mins later

Calendar integration with Facebook events.

Pure awesome, this might sound lame but FB events are a significant percentage of events I'm attending at any given day (parties, concerts, benefits, etc) and now they automatically sync into the calendar.

Amazing.

Just noticed (sorry if it's been mentioned before) that when checking updates in the App Store it now shows you the changelog in updates screen and doesn't send you back to app page

Hey guys just wanted to pop in and I'm not quite sure if It has been mentioned yet but on the iPhone when sending a tweet or replying to a tweet in the twitter app, the status bar where you see the time is replaced with "sending tweet" then "tweet sent" and then the status bar comes back! Check it out!

The thumbs icons look emptier if that makes sense.. It's been there since beta 1. No functional changes I've encountered.

I'm curious, how does contact synchronization work? From what I understand, iOS 6 automatically syncs your contact list with your Facebook friends, but considering the fact that many people have hundreds of Facebook friends, that doesn't seem like a great idea. I want some contacts synced but I don't want hundreds of new contacts automatically added to my phone.

How does Facebook integration on iOS 6 deal with that?

If your contacts have their email or number on Facebook you can simply click update contacts under the Facebook setting and it will update your current contacts
