iOS 6 Beta 3: New Features & Improvements Thread

Yea some location stuff like restaurants are a bit off here compared to the yelp app. I think the connections aren't fully there yet whilst in beta.
Not sure if anyone has posted this, but the icon for the new iPad clock app has been tweaked between beta 2 and beta 3. The changes are subtle (mostly tightening up the shadowing), but I do think it's an improvement. See the screenshots below.

Of course, I'm not sure what it says about the amount of time I spend using my iPad that I noticed that...
I don't see a difference other than what could be attributed to seeing it on a different background or a difference in the brightness setting (contrast difference).
I've tried that before, but later I switched it back on. Autocorrect sometimes (well, tbh, seldom) does things correctly, e.g.: I really like how it changes i to I so I can have correct grammar.
Can you adjust the keyboard size in split mode yet? Biggest pet peeve right now, the buttons are just too small for my liking.
You really can`t see the difference?.....the little black bars are closer to the edge, the shadows and the pointers do not blend that much... etc
Yeah loads of listings not showing up using Siri but are listed on yelp. Be warned if adding a business to yelp be as accurate as possible, I messed up on a location and the idiots won't fix it after several reports of its innaccuracy

Nothing was showing every time i chose it, the add playlist button finally showed up after i swiped up on the screen

Unifying phone number and email in iMessage
I know everyone said that you can put your phone number into iMessage on the iPad, but I'm not sure how to do it. When I go into iMessage, there's no option for putting your phone number in. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

You have to turn off iMessage on both devices and restart. First turn on iMessage on the iPad. You should get a notification about adding your phone number. If not, try again.
Not new to beta 3, which is the point if the thread. There since beta 1 and at the keynote....

You don't add it in manually. It's a fiddle involving signing out of iMessage, people have managed it different ways.
It took me a solid hour of signing out of my apple ID in the iMessage menu on all devices, sign in on iPad. Wait 5 minutes, sign in on iPhone, eventually got a popup on my iPad saying a number has been detected and asking if I want to add the number to iMessage.
Thanks, but it's still not working. I tried but you said to do but nothings popping up.
As I said, it took an hour of doing that repeatedly. You need to have ios 6 on all devices as well just in case you weren't aware.
As I said a coupla times, took an hour or so of trying, it wasn't instant when it was successful, like 5 mins after the last attempt. There's no exact science, Just gotta keep trying. I'm assuming it'll be more instant by the time GM comes out.
Yes...I see it..but nothing more than what wold normally change with the brightness setting or as an optical illusion from the darker background.
I'll be sure to try again! One last question! Where does the pop-up occur? Do you have to go into the messages app or do you just have to be on the iPad and it just randomly pops up?
