iOS 6 Beta 3: New Features & Improvements Thread

I now have a "kr" symbol left of the "&" symbol on my keyboards.
Even with phone language and keyboard set to English.
It's not truly a symbol though, but rather the letters "k" and "r".
I don't see how swapping to the 123-keyboard to type that would save time.

Anyone else have this?
If so, what language(s) do you have on your device and keyboard?
Edit: General -> International -> Region Format is what determines if this symbol is visible or not.
Setting it to US replaced it with $.

I Saw that one aswell and i'm from Denmark. Kroner = Kr

give it time, not all devices will have the update right away.

Try find a decent connection. FYI You need Wi-Fi in order to download beta 3 OTA!

Thanks! Do I need to be running iOS 6 on both my iPhone and iPad? Or, can I just have ios 6 on my iPad.

That's what I want to know since I'm running iOS 6 only on my iPad.

Now that I've logged out and back in, and then toggled off and back on, my phone number is grayed out on my i4 (AT&T) and just says iMessages will be received at my 2 email addresses. Before, it said receiving at 3 addresses and my number was one of them and not grayed out.

???

Never mind. Just noticed that it says "Waiting for Activation" in the settings. So it might just not have re-registered my number with the servers. I hope?

That's what I want to know since I'm running iOS 6 only on my iPad.

I think both need to be on iOS 6 because my iPad has 5.1.1 and I can't unify my number and email on there.

Nope, it's integrated into the Phone and Contacts apps.

no there is no such app on the iphone, just go into contacts and tap Facetime

It wouldn't be right. It's just like with iMessages, it's integrated into the Messages app. With FaceTime, the iPad and iPod touch don't have Phone apps so they have to add a FaceTime icon.

Make dummy homescreen bookmarks with the appropriate icons.
Or just place Facetime where Phone should be, since neither have both.

Siri completely ceased to work for me in beta 3. Whether it's over wifi or 3G, it doesn't work. Normally Siri replied with something along the lines of "there's something wrong can you try that again" but nothing happens at all.

iOS 6 Beta 3: More Items

One of the items I've noticed since updating to Beta 3, in the music player application, when pressing the album button, the album artwork is now populated, as in Beta 2 there was no artwork visible, just a blank box.

Syncing notes to beta.icloud.com now works for me. Didn't in Beta 2.
Not sure if this is coincidence or Beta 3-related though.

Adding an alias on beta.icloud.com now creates @icloud.com addresses.
Just five minutes ago it still showed @me.com for me.

Traditional Chinese Voice dictation now shows Traditional Chinese not simplify Chinese like in Beta 2.

I don't have access to the beta software and I live in Argentina ( that's southamerica and we speak Spanish). Can anyone tell me if beta 3 has Spanish Siri and Spanish turn by turn navigation?
