It's been working on my uk account since beta 1. It just is fiddly to enable in beta 1, took me an hour to sort.
iMessage won't activate help
iMessage won't activate. I trying to unify my phone number to my iPad by logging out of iMessage on both my iPhone and my iPad. It logs in fine on my iPad, but on my iPhone it takes forever to activate and eventually says that the activation could not be completed. I tried to reboot but it would not work. what do I do?

Satellite/Hybrid view in the Maps.app have definitely been improved. The quality is much better and each square area seems to all match now. Before you can see the defining areas around each block when in Satellite/Hybrid view, but now you can see less "stitching". Looks a lot smoother now. They are definitely working hard on the map feature for iOS 6!
I found a weird bug where if I lock and unlock my iPhone 4S while on the brightness page in settings with auto brightness on, the phone will unlock but then freeze and the only way to fix it is to do a hard reset.
The satellite map of my hometown (St. Catharines Ontario, Canada) is now BLACK AND WHITE instead of color. Weird. It used to be in color but the satellite image was taken during the winter do everything looked white and Lake Ontario was partially frozen which just made things look weird (it seems like google always chooses summer images for maps of Canada). Now the map is at least not winter, but color is gone.
It took me a while but it will eventually. I tried it off and on for a few days then spent an hour solid and it eventually worked. I'm assuming it'll be easier when GM hits
I've been scouring the major cities in the states with the hopes finding new 3D mapping. The only city so far that appears to be new is Denver.

No, because it shows Southern General Hospital on screen in the speech bubble but says it can't search for directions in Israel.
Clearly a bug.

They may have changed the mapping process for stadiums because the Chicago Bears stadium from Beta 1 doesn't look as nice.
Old 3D: San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Seattle, Miami, Los Angeles, Mountain View, Cupertino, San Jose, Montreal, Copenhagen, Sydney, Melbourne
New 3D: Denver & San Diego
Confirmed not mapped: NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Charleston, Reno, Des Moines, Omaha, Oklahoma City, Dallas, DC, Portland, Kansas City, Houston, Philly, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Detroit.

Miami got some 3D love as well
Also did anybody notice that when you go to Chicago in 3D mode the view kind of circles around the pin? It is a nice effect but it only works for Chicago

I know this is beta and beta doesn't fully represent the finished product etc etc however, I seriously hope the maps app is at least 10% complete. I mean the UK is a tiny dot on the map compared to American states yet the satellite imaging is so patchy.
I have checked in London and at home and there is no traffic information yet, London should I feel be 3D and the satellite quality in the whole of my county is shocking.
I'm not complaining just making observations about a product that looks so far from being finished. It's one of the main apps I use and even when they release it I don't think I could live without street view. I really think google should develop a maps app exactly the same as the current one and even if they charged £3 ($5.50 there abouts) I'd still get it.
On the plus side turn by turn is a revelation, fantastic feature well executed. Anyway this is now a review and less about features.
