iOS 6 Beta 4: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

Phone problems

I've had a number of phone problems since upgrading.
4S on AT&T with an M-Cell

I didn't have any appreciable issues with Beta 3

1) After ~5 mins of talking, caller could not hear me (I was using the headset)
2) Tried to redial, dialed using "recent" list, UI didn't react.
- went back to the main screen and somehow the call was in the background
- couldn't hear me again
3) ended everything and tried to dial, took 30 seconds to ultimately fail
4) rebooted, removed headset, and seemed to go ok.

Anyone with similar issues?

When listening to music in my car using the 30 pin connection to an iPod enabled pioneer head unit, the music will cut off ever 30-45 seconds and only come back on by disconnecting and reconnecting. Pandora cuts off as like-wise, but only for a 1/2 second and come back on its own. (iPhone 4s) haven't checked the iPad yet. Anyone having the same issue?

I believe it's a memory leak. My iPhones have done this since the beginning. It will cycle this about 10 times with the disconnect and then work again normally, or you can do a hard restart and it clears it up right away. It's annoying, but not a iOS bug. Apples response to me 2 years ago on this matter was that it's an issue with the 3 party device, and not the iPhone or software. Well, since a restart fixes it, it tells me it's a bug they just won't fix. Like I said, it's happened to me over every iPhone, and iOS.

I'm using the Magellan Premium Car Kit for iPhone and iPod touch to dock, charge, and then the audio out into my aux jack on the car stereo.
 
iv noticed a few times when i unlock my phone, the brightness shoots up to full, and then goes back to what i have preset
any other people having this issue

Not all of my friends' birthdays from FB are appearing in my calendar. Most of them are, but oddly my best friend isn't. She has her birthday public on her FB page, but for some reason she was excluded from my calendar. Very odd.

Siri knows she's your best friend and has assumed you know when her birthday is without needing it in your calendar.
 
I have been having problems with ringtones not working with certain contacts. Now, my mail tone that I set isn't working, it's back to the normal tone. The ringtones issue has been since B3.
 
On my iPhone 4S, the Music App has no way to access my audiobooks.
The configure option doesn't even list audiobooks as a option.
Just Albums, Artists, Songs, Compilations, Composers, Genres, and Playlists.
No Audiobooks.

I know they're still there because I can instruct Siri to play them and they open up within the Music App just fine. I just can't manually select them.
I can also find and play them via Spotlight Search where they show up along with the audiobook icon.

My iPhone 4, also running beta 4, has no such problem.
 
iOS6 beta 4: text tone returns to default after plugging iPhone into iTunes

The title is pretty self explanatory, I don't know if it is a bug or something that has happened before!!!
Anyone else have this happen?

Recap: When I plug my phone into iTunes my text tone will change from calypso to the default Tri-Tone.
I literally have to change it back after I plug my phone in!!

Mine also randomly changes.
 
My flagged section in the mail.app seems to have gone missing.. anyone else experience that? And if so know how to get it back?
 
Can't download / update apps

Is anyone else having an issue where you can't download or update any apps from the appstore?
It tries to update, but it seems stuck trying to download the app.

Same here. I only have 2 flagged emails on iphone whereas on my imac mail app I've got like hundreds.

I can mark messages flagged on a Gmail acct but not on an Exchange acct (which is Google Apps underneath). That happened in Beta 3 to me though...
 
iOS 6 Beta 4 Sound Output

For some reason sound output through dock connector stops exactly after 70 seconds in my car (haven't tried it with other devices). Playback doesn't stop, sound stops. Any idea how to fix it?

I had the same issue a few post back. Don't know if there's a fix really. You can work around it if you have a 3.5 jack for the stereo and use that instead of the dock connector.
 
AT&T Personal Hotspot still isn't being recognized on iPhone 4. Was hoping it'd be fixed with this beta. Worked on 1 and 2. I just downgraded back to 5.1.1 and it works perfectly.
 
Does the little bug in the App Store where it doesn't show the most recent reviews bother anyone else or am I the only one that gets annoyed by this lol. It seems to only show 5 or so reviews and the reviews aren't even on the most recent version thus, makes judging whether an app is any good or not, harder

Are those flagged mails, not showing up on your iPhone flagged items inbox, in one of your mail accounts inboxes or in a sub-folder? I've noticed that flagged items that are located in a subfolder of your inbox do not show up on your iPhone's flagged items folder. The same holds for your VIP messages BTW.

In b1, it did include all VIP or flagged messages from all your folders but as of b2 it only includes messages from your inboxes unfortunately.
 
iOS 6 beta 4 bug with Exchange email account

Today I decided to change the number of days for email sync in my exchange account to unlimited. The phone began to sync and sync and sync, while it was syncing I sent several emails that were never received and did not show up in Outlook under 'sent items'. Eventually I deleted the exchange account and tried to add it back, no dice. No matter what I do, it will not add the account, it fails at the verification stage every time, and yes I am putting in the right info, in fact every time it fails I try changing the info a bit to see if it will work, it does not. I am also the admin of the exchange server (version 2010) so I know its not an exchange issue. I have tried doing it over my 3G connection and various wireless networks, no dice. I have rebooted the phone, didn't help. Not sure what else to do at this point. Suggestions? I don't fancy restoring the phone if I can help it and don't see why I would have to go to that lengths. Phone is an iPhone 4s 16GB btw. It was working fine until I broke it :mad:

There is still the issue where you can't consistently read MS Excel documents. I really hope this is something that changes before the GM and final release, because I use this all the time for my full-time job.
 
Lock/Unlock "click" sounds are really loud. Turning click sounds off/on does nothing. Power on/off does nothing. Hard reset fixes this. Seems to come back randomly.
 
When I decided to find the definition of a word by selecting it and by hitting the define button, it shows that the dictionary is empty with the message no definition found. I think they are updating the dictionary database.
