Settings>Wi-Fi>("Your Network")> [the blue circle arrow icon]
Scroll to bottom of screen and set HTTP Proxy to Auto

How I fixed this on iPhone 4:
- clear safari cache and cookies
- reset network settings
- sync iPhone again in iTunes
- reconnect to wifi

Pathetic (IMO) that engadget, MacRumors, AppleInsider, and every other major tech blog (that I've checked) slept through the whole thing.
Actually it was fixed by Apple at there end, you didn't have to do anything.
I try to connect my iphone and my wifes iphone to our wifi and after it connects. It opens Safari and loads Apple.com with Log In in the header?
This is weird!
