Yes in ios 6 and earlier ringer volume could be changed on the locks screen when no music was playing ..
Just remembered I have an old 3GS with iOS 6 on it. Charged it back up and tried it out. Can't change the volume from the lock screen--pressing the volume buttons doesn't do anything.

Anyone notice that Siri no longer offers to call location OR has a link to the phone number when asked for a search? It use to state "I found this would u like me to call?" or at the very least the phone number it found would be a touchable link. Now it simply finds the number and displays it. Cant touch a link or even copy it. WTH. Have to remember the number then open the phone app and dial it manually. Did this start with 7.1.1?

Have you tried telling Siri "Call them" or "Call it" once the phone number is displayed to initiate a call?

Yeah dont work. Can you call them? "I couldnt find any places" Its a bust. Just pretty useless now. May as well open browser and search for it then click the link. Not sure when this changed wondering if 7.1.1 but I cannot remember if it worked in 7.1 or not.
