Change the date of the Mac to June 2nd? Or change the date on the phone?

The phone. When you download the Pangu app for Mac connect your phone and it'll prompt you to change the date. No need to do it before.

Whats the best way to go about backing up my cydia tweaks before updating and re-jailbreaking?

Can you OTA upgrade without breaking the JB?

No.

----------

I jailbroke it with Pangu, seems to have worked but Cydia isn't showing up anywhere. What do I do?

Re-install the firmware and re-jailbreak it is the best option. I just did my iphone 5. Didn't get Cydia to come.

Went to reinstall - 7.1.2 is out. Oh dear...pretty sure its still jailbreakable though :)

Please notify us if JB is working on 7.1.2

I will :) (My internet is slow, so probably going to be a good 30mins haha)

Hoping if it isn't then the 7.1.1 window will still be open :/

But eitherway, sn0w said it is so I'm hoping I wont have problems

I usually just make a list of all of the packages and sources that I have and reinstall them later. You can also backup the preferences for each tweak, since the .plist files are located in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences.

No; that's never been possible.

Cool good to know!

I still think I might stay put on 7.1.1.

Took me a handful of hours to get everything in tip top on my devices exactly a week ago with the right tweaks and settings.

Taking the plunge and updating to 7.1.2 I'll be back in a couple hours I hope :p

***Everything went super smooth got all Cydia tweaks set up now just waiting for the mac to finish syncing.

Clean restore 7.1.2 on iPad 2 wifi jailbroken just fine.

Be sure to reset the clock to june 2nd before starting the pangu jailbreak proccess, otherwise it might time out.

Does it feel like the slightly higher drain on the battery is better? I used to feel like my iPhone 5 was an SUV going over 100 mph, I could almost watch the percentage go down lol

Just re did two ipad 3 wifi from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 with the latest Pangu v1.1 for osx and it worked flawlessly.
