Can anybody check to see if the "shuffle via bluetooth" works now?

Steps:
Connect via bluetooth
Start iOS music app
Hit the shuffle button
wait till the first song finishes. right now it will shuffle only the first song. The next song that is played will be in alphabetical order.

Also if you are in the music app playing a song and you hit the shuffle button, it will flash to shuffle then back to normal. It will not stay on shuffle.

Siri no longer begins every transcription with a capital letter. You may resume in the middle of a sentence and proper case is maintained.

Last night my phone felt a little warm and the battery was lower than I expected so I did a reset (both may have been normal but I was bored). :) The reset caused the phone to lose my fingerprint data and I had to re-enroll my fingers.

Animated weather gone?

Anyone notice the animated weather is gone now? iPhone 4s. I see like rain drops but they no longer move nor do clouds.
Also gmail (exchange setup) the delete/archive option archives no matter what setting you select?

I noticed this too, it is caused by reduced motion in settings :)

YEP! That was it. hmm so "reduce motion" reduces ALL motion huh. geez. definitely needs to be a few switches to control different aspects as some have mentioned. Thanks!

Can I get someone to check this? I have reported, but if it isn't in this fix I will report it again! :D

Spot on! I just tried disabling reduce motion and the weather became animated again. :)

Well you should report this cause in 7.0.4 there wasn't any problem like that .. I'm not a paid developer so I don't have iOS 7.1 .. But it would be worth reporting or else the same issue will reach the public release

I think it's intentional. Reduce motion is now a feature to reduce all motion possible - including with the Weather.

Unfortunately I think you are correct. They really need to have a few different switches for reduce motion, zoom effects, etc. Weather animation should be able to be on even if you don't want the other items. For example, I like the animated weather but not so much the zoom effects. The parallax effect should be an option for someone who may not want the zooming but likes the 3d effect of the wallpaper. I suspect its going to be an all or nothing option as that seems to be the direction they are going with each update.

Yeah, they went a bit overboard with this. I don't really care for the parallax effect, so I'd like to be able to turn that and only that off. Yet it turns off ALL animations, which makes the UI experience kind of ugly, and doesn't even speed it up at all since there's still a fading animation which takes just as long!

What the heck is even the point?

The control should be more fine grained, or they should at least speed up the fade transitions.

Yea, I really hope they add more options. I love the animations, I just want the parallax effect off.. so my wallpapers aren't all zoomed in.

The animations are definitely faster on the iPad 3. Not a huge difference, but large enough to be noticeable by the naked eye without comparison. For the record, I also did a comparison with an iPad 3 running 7.0.4, proving my hypothesis.

I don't know if animations are faster on other devices though.

I edited a wallpaper and added a large black border to it. Then you can zoom it to the level you want.

Annoying, but at least you can fix it even if you need to waste time in Pixelmater/Photoshop.

Yes, they are faster as well on iPad 4.

The point is that it's for accessibility reasons and not really any other ones you mentioned. For those who actually need and use it for accessibility reasons it mostly does pretty much what they actually need--reduce motion across the board.

Archive/Delete options in mail app

So anyone seeing that the archive/delete options in the mail app for gmail acct does not change behavior? So either setting causes mail to be archived to the All Mail folder. The button does change from Archive to Trash both at the bottom and the side swipe option but the mail actually never deletes anymore. Gmail set up as exchange.

[Edit] Looks like its the exchange setup of Gmail. If using the Gmail option to set up the mail account and configure the folders in the acct settings it seems to work. Of course you loose Push and sync x number of days functionality that is available when using the exchange setup.

Can you explain how any of those features is an "accessibility reason"? None of those effects (parallax, zoom, animated weather) are "needed" or not needed by anyone. They are simple user experience effects. And as such they should be optional for which ones a particular user wants or not. Sure none of them HAVE to even exist as they bring no real function other than user experience. Not sure I follow you on how 3D effect on home screen, zooming icons or rain coming down in the weather app is only for accessibility reasons.
