Yes, all iOS devices that are supported by iOS 7.1 beta 2 run considerably smoother and crash substantially less running iOS 7.1 beta 2.Does the iPad 3 run any smoother with 7.1 beta 2?

I'd dare say that some of my devices (iPhone 4S and iPad 2) are running faster than they did with iOS 6.x.x.

Let's hope it gets even better with beta 3. There are a few annoying bugs here and there in beta 2 but I've been using it daily for three + weeks and love it!That's great news !![]()

No but a colleague has it installed on his iPad 3 and he reports the same as me, "substantially improved and considerably faster".Are you testing it on an iPad 3? Also have they fixed the annoying crash when tapping twice the wallpaper icon in settings?
To anyone with 7.1, have they fixed the "slide area" for the slide to unlock on lock screen? I try to scrub music and it keeps unlocking my screen. Sucks.
That is not true. I can very easily put a folder inside another folder on b2.
If 7.1 is released in Feb or March then everything except for maintenance and upkeep will have already shifted to iOS 8. I think that iOS 7 will always be known as a dark sheep in the iOS family. 7.1 puts a lot of polish on it but.......well, you know. Very anxious to start testing iOS 8.

Yes, the tap twice wallpaper crash has been resolved.

Good god. I just gave B2 a shot.
**** is horrible. Nothing like waiting 5 seconds for the keyboard to register a key is pressed.
Took 2 minutes to enter in my Apple ID just to register it.
Sounds like something didn't go right with your install perhaps. Might want to try restating if not resetting settings or even reinstalling.Good god. I just gave B2 a shot.

Except, you know, that doesn't happen. I'm sorry but just no. I get that my experience isn't the only one out there, but I have a 5th gen iPod and even when on a call and typing I get 0 lag. This device is also one of the, if not THE, weakest device currently supporting iOS 7. Now you could be exaggerating but your other posts don't give that conclusion.Good god. I just gave B2 a shot.

Have you tried restarting, resetting settings, or restoring perhaps?Except you know, it is happening.

I just backed up the 7.1. I'm going to wipe the device, install the 7.1 and put the backup back on.
I reset my keyboard dictionary, seems to be working for now.
I've seen a variation of this on my iPhone 5S recently but in my case, it appeared to be as if it was formatted for an iPad based on the skew of the text. No Notifications was in the lower right hand corner of the All tab instead of being centered. Here is the today view of this bug.
