I recent submitted a bug report to Apple regarding some iTunes Match issues I've had with iOS 7. I finally received a reply yesterday, asking if the problem was solved in beta 3. Since I'm not an iOS developer, specifically, I turn to you to see if the problem has been fixed...
Since iOS 7, it's been impossible to change the album title metadata from albums purchased on iTunes and have the changes propagate to iOS devices. For instance, if I purchased Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience (Deluxe)" on iTunes, and changed the title of it to just "The 20/20 Experience", while all my Macs would make the album title change (because of iTunes Match), iOS (and Apple TV) would not accept the changes and thus still use the album title metadata on the iTunes Store.
Recently, however, with 7.0.4, things changed. The good news, you can change the album title for iTunes purchased albums, provided you re-enable iTunes Match on your iOS devices, after you make the changes. The bad news is that you now have to do this for every album title change you want to make, including non-iTunes purchased albums.
So, simply put, is it possible in beta 3 to change album title names (both purchased and not purchased from iTunes) in iTunes Match and have it propagate to iOS devices?
Thanks!
