It's not about that core, it's just Apple trying to make us buy new 1000 dollars iphones. Ios 7 is flat and not as intense as ios 6. What is so hard in making settings app smooth? Does the 4 need another core to make the scrolling smooth? No!

Exactly!!!

I went to my fav torrent site to download the latest ubuntu release via torrent. Click the download link and boom got a screen asking me what i want to open the .torrent file with. I was surprised because I could have sworn I have tried doing it in the past and that did not happen.

You can already do it with 7.0.4, and as far I can remember it was also possible on iOS 6.

from beta 2
Nothing really different as far as I can tell--the same new items that were introduced in beta 2 are still there, and it doesn't look like anything else has been added or changed.

Still has the issue where if you press the new button (from off to on) whilst scrolling, the button isn't highlighted even though the feature is on.

Yup, the button highlight issue still exists.

I think there's more there than a brightness change, there is some level of a color temperature or gamma type of change, it's just that it's somewhat minor so it's not extremely noticeable, but it is noticeable nonetheless.

Thanks, was hoping for answer like that

Regarding white point, when airplay mirroring I couldn't see a change on the mirror when toggling this setting... Suggesting it adjusts the calibration rather than render colours differently (not really sure what I mean, but hope someone who understands better finds this useful)

Just got around to installing beta 3. Few points below.

• Damn this is fast !

• Don't really notice the change in green on thr apps when not side by side. Looks fine.

• I like the darker keyboard text.

• The shift key bluddy sucks ! theyve reversed the highlighting ans made caps lock a shade darker. Its stupid, my vision is excellent and still I have to check the damn thing, feel sorry for users withpoor eyesight.

Starting last night i started to have a lot of glitchy things happen to my iPhone 5.

The screen has gotten stuck. I ended a phone call and it looked like it was overlapping my lock screen not letting me do anything. I couldn't unlock, "end" the call. I got another phone call right as it was happening so it "fixed" but then when I unlocked my phone after that call, it was just a black screen only showing my wallpaper. I could lock the phone and unlock, but nothing was showing up except my wallpaper. Had to turn the phone off and on.

Yesterday, my phone restarted and 2 apps were missing and I couldn't delete them or reinstall them. I had to do it from iTunes.

I recent submitted a bug report to Apple regarding some iTunes Match issues I've had with iOS 7. I finally received a reply yesterday, asking if the problem was solved in beta 3. Since I'm not an iOS developer, specifically, I turn to you to see if the problem has been fixed...

Since iOS 7, it's been impossible to change the album title metadata from albums purchased on iTunes and have the changes propagate to iOS devices. For instance, if I purchased Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience (Deluxe)" on iTunes, and changed the title of it to just "The 20/20 Experience", while all my Macs would make the album title change (because of iTunes Match), iOS (and Apple TV) would not accept the changes and thus still use the album title metadata on the iTunes Store.

Recently, however, with 7.0.4, things changed. The good news, you can change the album title for iTunes purchased albums, provided you re-enable iTunes Match on your iOS devices, after you make the changes. The bad news is that you now have to do this for every album title change you want to make, including non-iTunes purchased albums.

So, simply put, is it possible in beta 3 to change album title names (both purchased and not purchased from iTunes) in iTunes Match and have it propagate to iOS devices?

Thanks!

I had a similar issue occur yesterday as well. I called my voicemail the old school way (press and hold 1) and after I was finished I *could not* end the call no matter what I did.

Anyone else seeing issues around dialing or calls? This build is certainly more flaky for me than beta 2 and yes, this is a full restore and setup as new on a iPhone 5S.

Does the weather animation bug issue still occur?

In the previous beta, when reduced motion was turned on, the weather animations turned off, and when reduced motion was turned off, the animations again started

Just get an Android for like $10 and be stuck on Froyo instead of complaining dude.

I complain because I paid 400 dollars on a phone 3 years ago on a 2 year contract ( these are the prices in my country) and apple is forcing me to update to 7 by auto downloading it to my iphone, lucky me I still have my shsh.

----------

- Translucency. Even though it's disabled on older devices, it still uses alpha channels which are less efficient.

- It still has to do things like letterpress rendering on text, in apps like reminders and notes (which by the way use textures).

- It has more background tasks running.

There are more reasons, and these are just a few. I don't really think it's very logical to deliberately cripple devices as it moves people to other platforms.

Ios 6 has a lot of textures too.

i dont think thats a bug....thats part of the "reduce motion". the animations, which are in motion, were reduced.

If you are on a call. Push the power button, turns of the screen, turns back again drops you to the locksreen and then turns it off again.
I don't remember if 7.04 did it the same way.

I have had the same problem on betas 1&2 as well as 7.0.4. So far have not had this problem on beta 3.

Biggest change is iOS 7.1 is fast.

They've sped up all the animations, but it seems quicker even besides that.

Anyone have issues with "Recently Played" playlist in Music app when using iTunes Match? Mine shows nothing when pressed... :( (been the same since 7.1 beta 1)
